Deery Series, Dirt Knights drivers earn awards from Robert & Sons Aluminum

NEWNAN, Ga. – Drivers in a second IMCA series earn product awards this season from Robert & Sons Aluminum.

The Newnan, Ga., manufacturer and distributor again gives 10 sheets of aluminum to the champion and rookie of the year in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models; both the champion and the driver with perfect attendance and fewest points in the Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour receive the same award beginning in 2018.

Now in its fourth year as an IMCA sponsor, Robert and Sons also distributes aluminum for commercial uses that range from trailers to signage and storefronts throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America.

“Robert & Sons Aluminum appreciates being part of IMCA to help support the race teams that compete each year by providing our awards,” said Steve Hinely. “We are up to 37 different colors/finishes and each year we plan to continue to expand our color and finish options to give the drivers more choices and be able to make their car stand out from the rest.”

More information is available by calling 800 206-8836, on Facebook and at the www.rsaluminum.com website.

All Roberts and Sons product certificates will be presented during the national IMCA awards banquet in November.

Both series are in action on Memorial Day Monday, May 28. The Deery Series is at Boone Speedway while the Dirt Knights Tour opener is at Benton County Speedway.

“It is great to see the expansion of this program and not only include the Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour, but target drivers with attendance that supports the entire tour,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “We are excited to get this tour underway.”
