Aero adds more state champions to IMCA awards program

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa – The long-time sponsor of IMCA’s feature win decal program gives post-season awards to drivers in another sanctioned division in 2018.

Aero Race Wheels adds Mach-1 Sport Compact state champions to the list of drivers receiving $25 product certificates.

The Estherville, Iowa, manufacturer has also renewed gift certificate awards of the same value for IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers.

“A number of Sport Compact drivers don’t realize that our 44 Series stock replacement wheels are legal for the division,” said Aero Marketing and Customer Service Manager Kelli Peton. “This addition to our program with IMCA just seemed like a good way to help get the word out there.”

Now in its 22nd sponsorship season, Aero again gives $40 product certificates, good toward the purchase of two wheels, to designated place finishers at 80 special events for Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and SportMods.

While state champion certificates are presented during the national IMCA banquet in November or mailed beginning in December, special events awards will be sent from the IMCA home office the week after official race results are received.

Feature win decals are to be given to drivers in all divisions following sanctioned weekly or special events feature victories.

Aero has sponsored the popular feature win decal program for 12 years.

“Adding Sport Compact awards is a natural progression for Aero and provides our members with a valuable resource when it comes to OEM replacement wheels,” observed IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Our state champion recognition is a great complement to the wheels awarded to the front row starters at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.”
