PLATTE CENTER, Neb. – Razor Chassis reaches an IMCA milestone this season, its fifth as title sponsor of the South Central Region.
The Platte Center, Neb., chassis builder again provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid to top 10 Modified drivers in the region, which includes tracks in Texas and southern New Mexico.
The regional champion earns $2,500. The runner-up gets $1,250 with $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th. All drivers in the region are required to display two Razor decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.

Cory Sample repeated as a regional champion aboard a Razor last season, albeit in the Western region.
“We are seeing more and more Razor cars throughout the country and I know there are some new cars going to the South Central Region this season,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. “Anthony Roth took his house Razor to Texas last fall and won the Fall Classic at Heart O’ Texas Speedway and proved those cars are competitive in that region.”
