IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nationals has early entries from 11 states

EAGLE, Neb. – Entries for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nationals are already in hand from 11 states.

More than 100 drivers are anticipated to compete at the fifth annual event Aug. 31-Sept. 3 at Eagle Raceway.

Sprint Nationals begins with an open house and practice on Thursday, Aug. 31. The starting field of 27 will be determined through qualifying on Sept. 1 and 2 and in last-chance qualifying on Sept. 3.

Sunday’s main event pays $2,500 to win and a minimum $1,250 to start, plus a generous number of contingency awards.

Friday and Saturday qualifying features both pay $700 to win while Saturday’s Jake Ita Memorial pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $100 to start.

The “B” feature purse sponsored by IMCATV is $1,000 for the first non-qualifier (10th place finisher) and $500 to start.

All other non-qualifiers receive a minimum of $250 for Sunday with added non-qualifier sponsorship money. Therefore, non-qualifiers are guaranteed at least $450 for the entire weekend as long as they take a green flag each night.

New this year is the requirement that drivers must have competed in a minimum of three IMCA RaceSaver events in 2017 to be eligible for Sprint Nationals.

Drivers who pay the $15 early registration fee receive a free reserved pit stall as long as they are available. Registration is $50 after Aug. 24.

Pit passes are $25 each night.

Adult grandstand admission is $13 on Friday, $15 on Saturday and $18 on Sunday. A three-day grandstand pass is $35 and can be purchased by calling the Eagle Raceway office at 402 238-2595.

Baca Dominates IMCA Modified Opener at Ernie Mincy Memorial Early Thaw

Casa Grande, ARIZONA (January 23, 2025) — Chaz Baca Jr. added another victory to his already amazing 2025 season, dominating the IMCA Modified main event on the opening night of the Ernie Mincy Memorial Early Thaw at Central Arizona Raceway. The two-time defending IMCA National champion and reigning Western Region, Arizona State, and Central Arizona Raceway titleholder led all twenty laps in a commanding performance. Baca, hailing from Mesa, seized the lead from the drop of the green flag and worked to build a comfortable margin. His efforts were briefly challenged as California racers Jerry Flippo and Troy Morris III gave chase. The race took an intense turn midway through as the leaders encountered heavy lapped traffic. Razor Chassis renews North Central Region sponsorship

Jet Racing celebrates 28 years of IMCA sponsorship
