National championship awards highlight Wilwood IMCA program again in 2017

CAMARILLO, Calif. (July 22) – Wilwood Engineering adds generously to contingency award programs for five IMCA divisions this season.

The Camarillo, Calif., manufacturer and seven-year sponsor gives front brake rotors to the IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod national champions and a set of front and rear wide hubs to the top driver in the IMCA Late Model national points race.

Second through fifth place finishers in all five divisions receive $100 product certificates.

All awards will be given during the national IMCA banquet in November, or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

“Wilwood Disc Brakes was born in racing and we pride ourselves on working with leading motorsports series,” said Steve Cornelius, director of sales and marketing for Wilwood Engineering. “Grassroots racing is the backbone of the industry and we are fortunate to work with partners like IMCA that allow us to not only give back to the drivers but help educate them on choosing the right braking components.”
