National championship awards highlight Wilwood IMCA program again in 2017

CAMARILLO, Calif. (July 22) – Wilwood Engineering adds generously to contingency award programs for five IMCA divisions this season.

The Camarillo, Calif., manufacturer and seven-year sponsor gives front brake rotors to the IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod national champions and a set of front and rear wide hubs to the top driver in the IMCA Late Model national points race.

Second through fifth place finishers in all five divisions receive $100 product certificates.

“The faster that cars become and racers want to go, increased importance is placed on the ability to slow them down as well,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder noted. “Wilwood makes the best braking systems for dirt track racing and IMCA is certainly proud to help market their products.”
