$700 to win features for IMCA Modifieds at Red River Valley’s Dakota Cat special

WEST FARGO, N.D. – IMCA Modifieds race for $700 to win both nights of Red River Valley Speed­way’s Thursday and Friday May 25-26 Dakota Cat 100 special.

A minimum of $100 will be paid to start and $100 hard charger awards will be given for both 42-lap features.

Non-qualifier pay is $50 and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points, but no track points, will be awarded for both shows.

There is no entry fee and pit passes for the draw/redraw special are $30.

Drivers will pass their helmets to raise funds toward medical expenses incurred by Mike Bruns Sr., long-time driver of no. 42 modified and late model race cars.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. both days. The draw closes at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. There will be no hot laps.

Grandstand admission is $13 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under.
