Sunset Speedway Park opens Saturday with Ladies’ Night

BANKS, Ore. – IMCA Modifieds are on the card when Sunset Speedway Park opens for the sea­son on Saturday, May 6.

The first round of IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing action will be Lime-A-Rita Ladies’ Night where all ladies 18 years or older get into the races for $5.

“The weather hasn’t been the kindest to us this year,” commented Nikki Gamell, Sunset manager. “We’re very excited to finally get some racing in. We also want to invite all those lovely ladies out there to come out and have some fun.”

Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the front gate opens at 4 p.m. Racing kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $13 for adults, seniors, military and juniors ages 13-17 are $10, youth ages 6-12 are $5 and children five and under are free. A family pass (two adults and up to four youth) is $35 while premium seats are $25 each.
