Holley Performance backs five divisions, Deery Series in 19th season as IMCA sponsor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Holley Performance, manufacturer of the official carburetor of IMCA, continues its association with the sanctioning body for a 19th sponsorship season in 2017.

The Bowling Green, Ky., company has renewed a generous program of awards for IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model and Deery Brothers Summer Series, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod competitors.

“Holley Performance and MSD Performance are proud sponsors of IMCA. The history of these brands with IMCA, and the support we get from IMCA along with all of its competitors makes this a great relationship,” said Circle Track Sales Manager Graham Fordyce. “We strive to continually improve the products we offer to the circle track industry and to provide support to the competitors for their achievements.”

Holley returns to the decal program for Stock Cars and drivers in that division are required to display two Holley decals to be eligible for national and regional point fund shares.

Both the national Late Model rookie of the year and the Deery Series rookie of the year receive 4150 series gas carburetors. Top eligible drivers in each of the five Modified regions get 750 cfm gas or alcohol HP carburetors while product certificates valued at $350, $250, $100 and $100 go to the next four drivers in regional point standings.

Top three drivers in both Northern and Southern Stock Car regions earn 350 or 500 cfm carburetors. Fourth and fifth place drivers receive $100 product certificates and sixth through 10th place finishers each get $50 certificates.

Top eligible drivers in national Northern and Southern SportMod standings determine claim engine recipients of 500 cfm carburetors or crate engine recipients of 650 cfm carburetors. Second place drivers in each division receive $175 certificates, with $125 for third and $50 for both fourth and fifth.

Drivers in all five divisions must compete with Holley-manufactured carburetors to be eligible and proof of purchase may be required. Modified, Stock Car and SportMod drivers must also return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.

Awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

“The rebranding of Holley has brought with it some changes recently, but the same great products remain an integral part of IMCA rules packages in most divisions,” observed IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “As long as drivers are choosing the approved and legal carburetor for their engine package and application, they’ll continue to find victory lane and receive outstanding support from Holley in the process.”
