Schoenfeld Headers special events awards renewed for drivers in five IMCA divisions

VAN BUREN, Ark. – Drivers competing in IMCA special events are in the running for awards from Schoenfeld Headers again this season.

Fifty dollar product certificates go to designated place finishers at 80 IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod specials.

Schoenfeld certificates will be given at all events in the 31st annual Deery Brothers Summer Series. All certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office within a week after official race results are received.

Schoenfeld, located in Van Buren, Ark., manufactures IMCA’s official 609, 930 and 935 mufflers, headers and related exhaust components.

The 19-year IMCA sponsor will also return to the national decal program for Modifieds and drivers in that division will be required to display two Schoenfeld deals on their race car to be eligible for shares of national and regional point funds.

When required to run a noise reduction system of 98 decibels or more, drivers in all five divisions that are part of the Schoenfeld special events program must compete with one of the three official mufflers.

Information about the complete Schoenfeld product line is available by calling 479 474-7529, at the www.schoenfeldheaders.com website and on Facebook.

“The Schoenfeld logo will again be required on all IMCA Modifieds across the country as we continue to partner with the manufacturer of the Official Muffler of IMCA,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “They do a great job of servicing the needs of racers as well as tracks in communities with a noise ordinance and we appreciate their dedication to making IMCA racing strong on those areas.”
