Four IMCA divisions featured at Cocopah’s Cactus Clash this weekend

YUMA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds are in the running for $1,000 to win both nights of Cocopah Speedway’s Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4 Cactus Clash.

Both main events are Fast Shafts All-Star ballot qualifiers. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks vie for $600, $500 and $400, respectively, to win each night of the draw/redraw special.

Start money is $100 for Modifieds, $50 for the SportMods and Stocks, and $40 for the Hobbies. Tow is $30 in each division.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, All-Star Performance State and local track points will be awarded. RACEceivers are required as are transponders, which can be rented at the track.

Pit gates open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, and free for kids 12 and under. Family passes and sky box tickets both are $25. Pit passes are $35.
