Princeton’s Western Showdown features four IMCA divisions

PRINCETON, Minn. – Four IMCA sanctioned divisions run at Princeton Speedway’s Western Showdown special this weekend.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified features on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24 pay $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $125 to win both nights.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance points, but no lo­cal track points, will be awarded at the fourth annual special.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. both days. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $7 for students ages 7-17 and free for six and under. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $17 for minors ages 5-17.
