DUNDEE, N.Y. – While the track championship has been decided at New York’s Outlaw Speedway, there is still a great deal of coin, points and national, regional and state IMCA implications left on the line in 2016.
Tyler Siri’s Outlaw Speedway will host the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds for two monster shows during the inaugural Outlaw Fall Nationals Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23 and 24.
Both features are 2017 Fast Shafts Ballot qualifiers as a $1,000 to win 25-lapper headlines the Friday show and Saturday’s 35-lapper pays $1,500 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded both nights. The Saturday night show doubles as an Atomicwraps.com IMCA Empire State Series event.
“We’re really excited to offer this to the Northeast IMCA contingent,” said Siri. “Our Modified numbers were steady all year long. This is a great money on the line, plus they can add to their, state, regional and national points.”
Racing begins at 7 p.m. Friday. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with pit admission set at $35. Saturday will see racing take the first green flag at 5 p.m.
General admission is $20 and senior citizens pay the discounted price of $18. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Camping is also always free on the grounds. 2016 saw the speedway expand its camping area with plenty of room for the whole family to pack up and make it a weekend.
