Great Lakes Nationals prize is $3,000 for IMCA Modifieds 

CRYSTAL, Mich. – Three thousand dollars and a spot on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are at stake at this weekend’s Great Lakes Nationals.

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds running Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18 at Crystal Motor Speedway earn a minimum of $300 to start, along with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and Allstar Performance State points.

The Modified feature will be 50 laps.

Pit gates open at 1 p.m. Saturday. The grandstand opens and hot laps start at 4 p.m. with the first heat at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the pit gate opens at noon, the grandstand opens at 1 p.m. and racing starts at 3 p.m.

Adult grandstand admission is $25 for both days, $15 for Saturday or $20 for Sunday. Children’s grandstand admission is $12 for both days, $6 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday. Pit passes are $50 for both days or $35 for one day.

Free camping, but no hookups, will be available.
