BOONE, Iowa – Jordan Grabouski was likely going to make his way in as the national point leader, but he won’t have to wait for that call next week.
The Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified driver will instead fill a spot in the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational field vacated by Jeff Taylor. Taylor, who was originally voted into the 13th annual race to be held during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, will be unable to attend the event at Boone Speedway.
Grabouski will take Taylor’s spot as a representative from the Jet Racing Central Region.
The final two of 30 starting spots for the event will be filled by the top driver in national point standings and the driver with the most feature wins in 2016 not already voted into the starting field.
The All-Star event will be part of the Fri., Sept. 9 Super Nationals program at Boone.
