BOONE, Iowa – With drivers coming from coast to coast and border to border to be part of the 34th annual event, a Represent Your State theme was only logical for the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
Best-looking Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods with a Represent Your State theme will be selected during the Sept. 5-10 Super Nationals.
Voting will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 6 in the Fan Zone south of the main grandstand at Boone Speedway for the Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods; Modified and Stock Car best looking car entries will pull onto the front stretch and be determined by fan acclamation during pre-race ceremonies on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Two hundred dollar awards courtesy of Golden Empire Towing go to bestlooking Modified and Northern SportMod entries while winners in each division receive trophies. All entries receive mini-doors.
Drivers in all four divisions, as well as the Late Models, Southern SportMods and Sport Compacts bringing themed cars to Boone receive $100 gift cards from Speedway Motors, marking its 22nd year as title sponsor of Super Nationals.
“I am really looking forward to some of the home-state designs from our competitors this season. We saw some creative and very identifiable themes at the Duel In The Desert last fall and certainly look for more of the same in Boone,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I know drivers really take pride in where they are from and this is a great way to put that on display in front of the largest crowd in dirt track racing.”
