Three IMCA divisions on Friday Governor’s Cup card 

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Three IMCA divisions race Friday, July 1, night two of the Governor’s Cup at Davenport Speedway.

IMCA Late Models battle for $3,000 to win, Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds for $1,500 to win and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $750 to win, all on the ¼-mile oval.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in all three divisions. Modifieds also chase BMS North Central Region points in the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier.

No track points will be given for the draw/redraw show. There is a $100 entry fee for Late Models and a $35 entry fee for Modifieds.

The pit gate will open at 3 p.m. The grandstand will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 p.m. and racing at 6:45 p.m. Overnight camping is available.

Pit passes will be $35.  Grandstand admission is $20 for adults and $18 for seniors and students. Children 11 and under are free when accompanying a paid adult.

Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa.
