BRITT, Iowa – The winner of Hancock County Speedway’s inaugural IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock special earns at least $1,000 and as much as $2,000.
The Saturday, July 2 main event at Britt pays a guaranteed $1,000 to win with $500 bonuses if that driver has perfect attendance and has won a previous feature at Hancock County this season.
Second place pays $750, with $500 for third. Start money is $100 and tow is $50. Entry fee, if paid by June 24, is $30.
Also on the evening’s race program are Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. All applicable points, including local track, will be awarded in all sanctioned divisions.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the draw closes at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Family passes are $40. Pit passes are $25.
Parts, tires and fuel will be available at the track.
