COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – The second Fast Friday of the season is Friday, June 24 at Cottage Grove Speedway.
General admission for fans ages 13 and up will be $5.
Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds are on both Fast Friday and the Saturday, June 25 Loggers’ Cup cards.
The IMCA Modifieds are coming off of a very busy schedule with the recent conclusion of the Wild West Shoot Out. Cottage Grove Speedway has already had 10 IMCA Modified events with an already impressive win list.
Mark Wauge is still the driver with the most triumphs, at three, including one of the Wild West Modified Shoot Out races. Single race winners include Craig Hanson, Jake Mayden, Curtis Towns, Collen Winebarger, Kinzer Cox, Jesse Williamson, and 2016 Wild West Shoot Out champion Kellen Chadwick.
Tickets for Saturday are adults $13, juniors and seniors both $10 and youth ages 6-12 $5. A family pass is $30 and children five and under are free. As is the case all season long in honor of the track’s 60th anniversary, the 60th fan through the front gate gets in free.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m., the front gate opens at 4 p.m. and racing starts at approximately 6:30 p.m. both nights.
