Winters Performance backs IMCA Modified drivers

YORK, Pa. – Winters Performance Products has renewed the awards program benefitting Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers for a second season.

The York, Pa., manufacturer again gives a complete quick change rear end to the national rookie of the year.

Top five drivers in point standings for each of the five Modified regions receive $100 product certificates.

All awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

Rob VanMil earned national rookie of the year honors last season and more than 50 drivers are already in the running for this year’s title. Deadline for submitting the rookie of the year application to IMCA is Aug. 1.

“Rookie of the Year programs are very special because of the amount of new drivers we see in our Modified division each and every year,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “This year’s ROY will go home with a new Winters quick change rear end to compliment the rest of the accolades that go along with the title.”
