Kirkey Racing Fabrication in 10th season as IMCA sponsor

ST. ANDREWS WEST, Ont. – Another IMCA national champion receives a seat from 10-year sponsor Kirkey Racing Fabrication this season.

The St. Andrews West, Ont., manufacturer and accessories retailer gives a 79 series containment seat to the top driver in national IMCA EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car point standings beginning in 2016.

The Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified national champion again earns an 88 series layback containment seat while product certificates worth $250 each go to the IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod and Mach-1 Sport Compact national champions.

“Kirkey is proud to be involved with IMCA for the last 10 years and look forward to many more years ahead,” said company owner and president Steve Kirkey. “Sprint racing is growing class and there is no better place to promote our new products than the IMCA.”

Kirkey had previously given a product certificate of the same value to the national Sprint Car champ. Awards will be presented during the national banquet in November.

“The growth of our EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car division has justified increasing the attention to those racers in 2016,” observed IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “A containment seat from Kirkey is paramount to Sprint Car drivers based on the openness of the cockpit and we’re proud to offer this award to our national champion.”
