IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car sanction new this season at Crawford County

DENISON, Iowa – Crawford County Speedway will crown its first IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car champion this season.  Eight dates for the winged class are scheduled on Fridays at Denison, beginning April 24 when the Sprint Series of Nebraska comes to town for opening night of the Spring Fling special. The Sprints are also on May 8 and 22, June 5 and 19 and July 10, 17 and 31 programs. “Iowa is the heart of Sprint Car racing. Crawford County Speedway opens with April 19, 20 Spring Fling

DENISON, Iowa – Five IMCA divisions race both nights at Crawford County Speedway’s season-opening April 19 and 20 Spring Fling. Friday and Saturday main events for IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars pay $850 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $500 to win. Top prize both nights for the Mach-1 Sport Compacts is $200.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and E3 Spark Plugs State points, but no track points will be awarded at each program. Practice starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 and a complimentary meal is included with the purchase of a pit pass. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow Friday. Six p.m. hot laps precede racing on Saturday.  Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and military with ID, and free for kids ages five and under.
