BEATRICE, Neb. (March 5, 2024) – Johnny Saathoff has seen a lot of change in the motorsports industry over his years as a race car driver and owner of Jet Racing. He’s also seen some things remain the same over the course of a lengthy marketing partnership with IMCA, the last 13 of those 27 years as title sponsor of the Central Region for Modifieds. ARDMORE, Okla. (March 5, 2024) – Three IMCA divisions are in action each night of Southern Oklahoma Speedway’s March 14-16 Southern Stampede. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $2,000 to win and $200 to start on Thursday, $1,000 to win and $100 to start on Friday and $3,000 to win and $300 to start in the Saturday finale at Ardmore. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both run for $1,000 to win and $100 to start on opening night, with $750 to win and $75 to start on night two and $1,250 to win and $125 to start night three. Sitton Classic RaceSaver Sprint win has Fifield smiling

GREENVILLE, Texas (March 2, 2024) – Justin Fifield was all smiles Saturday night, and not just because he’d won the top-paying event of his IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car career. Fifield led start to finish of the Smiley Sitton Classic at Hunt County Raceway, outrunning a star-filled field for a $3,000 payday. “Our car was just really good. Texas Grand win is career seventh for Babbitt

CLEVELAND, Texas (March 2, 2024) – The Texas Grand has been a racing tradition for nearly three decades and Corey Babbitt has made a tradition of winning the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite at the 105 Motor Speedway special. The New Caney driver led all but the first of 30 laps Saturday night in earning his career seventh Texas Grand crown and $1,500. “We had two grooves to race on. They dropped the green and we took off,” said Babbitt, who negotiated heavy lapped traffic and then put some distance on the rest of the field in a green, white, checkered finish. Hibdon makes it three straight at Mohave Valley

MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. (March 2, 2024) – There’s just something about Mohave Valley Raceway that suits Kollin Hibdon’s racing style. He’s just not sure what. Hibdon won for the third time in as many Mohave Valley starts this season, topping Saturday’s $2,000 to win Bill and Shirley Meyer Showdown feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. “I don’t know why we’ve been so good here,” he admitted afterwards. “I’ve probably only raced at Mohave Valley a couple times before and I think I finished second both times. Mallicoat ends Florida roller coaster ride with IMCA Modified Clash on the Coast checkers

MILTON, Fla. (March 2, 2024) – His Florida roller coaster ride saw Izac Mallicoat end the IMCA Clash on the Coast on top. The 17-year-old speedster from Boone, Iowa, stayed close to leader Trevor Fitz the first 19 times around the track in the Saturday finale for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at Southern Raceway, and took over up front after Fitz fell off power on a restart. Mallicoat then outran Benji LaCrosse, Ethan Braaksma, speedweek champion Jeff Larson and Tanner Barnhart to the $1,000 checkers. “We have struggled with consistency but the whole week, we knew we had a fast car. Ohio’s O’Patik tops Clash on the Coast IMCA Modified feature at Milton

MILTON, Fla. (Feb. 29, 2024) – Mitchell O’Patik and Dallon Murty both talked about luck during their post-race interviews Thursday night at Southern Raceway. Truth is that both made their own luck on night three of the IMCA Clash on the Coast. (March 1, 2024) – With 248 laps and 72 races in the books for the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at this year’s Clash on the Coast, four point is all that separates current leader Jeff Larson, second place Joel Rust and third place Jeff Taylor from $2,500 and the custom surfboard trophy going into Saturday night’s final race.
