Jeremy Frenier: From Pit Steward’s Son to Century Club Racer

By Ben Deatherage FORT MORGAN, Colo. (July 23, 2025) — There was no better place for Jeremy Frenier to notch the most meaningful victory of his career than I-76 Speedway — the very track where his racing journey first began. On July 5, under a sky lit by Fourth of July fireworks and surrounded by friends and family, Frenier collected his 100th Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature win. The victory made him the 66th driver to join the division’s prestigious Century Club. “Getting it done at Fort Morgan was perfect,” said Frenier. “We had a lot of family and friends at the track. With it being the Fourth of July weekend, there were fireworks already planned — so to have that happening while celebrating my 100th win made it extra special.” The feature was a draw-redraw format. Frenier pulled the fourth starting spot and didn’t waste time making it count. “I had the lead by lap two and led the rest of the way,” he said. “The track caught some rain earlier and it was sticky [Read More]

Cory Dumpert: Nebraska Champion Reaches 100th IMCA Late Model Victory

By Ben Deatherage NEWMAN GROVE, Neb. (July 24, 2025) — The names are few, the path grueling, the odds relentless. But Cory Dumpert, the quiet powerhouse from Nebraska, has etched his name alongside the elite in the Sunoco IMCA Late Model Century Club, becoming just the ninth driver to reach the 100-win mark in the division. It happened June 28 at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, where he’s won the last three track championships, and the celebration was equal parts joy and relief. “I was really starting to think that the 100th one was going to be harder to win than the first,” Dumpert admitted. “Nothing seemed to go right and everyone kept bringing it up. It was getting to be a lot of pressure.” But pressure has a way of forging steel, and Dumpert, a six-time and reigning IMCA national champion, showed the grit that defines his career. Starting 10th on a racy, moisture-laden surface, the three-time defending Off Road track champion made his charge — bold, aggressive, and hell-bent. Cory Dumpert celebrates atop his [Read More]

By Chad Meyer BRITT, Iowa (July 22, 2025) — The Hancock County Fair’s Black Dirt Nationals continues to be good to Ethan Braaksma. Capitalizing on favorable heat race and main event draws, Braaksma held off Jeremy Mills to score his second straight Black Dirt Nationals IMCA Modified victory at Britt. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main saw Braaksma, a consistent contender at the fairgrounds oval, stay steady on the cushion while Mills tried to reel him in. Chaz Baca Jr. came from seventh to round out the podium. The win marked Braaksma’s 10th overall win of the season, with nine of them in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Snellenberger Nabs No. 234 at Eagle River

By Joe Verdegan  EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (July 22, 2025) — Pulaski’s “Hot Rod” Snellenberger bumped his career Sunoco IMCA stock car feature win total to 234 by picking up that division’s feature win at Eagle River Speedway Tuesday. Wisconsin’s winningest driver in the division started sixth on the grid in the 20 lap contest. Initially, it appeared that front row starter Jonathan Miller had the feature win in the bag. The Eagle River driver sprinted into the lead at the drop of the green of the race. Miller wasted little time building up a decent cushion between himself and the rest of the field. Snellenberger caught up with Miller after six laps and pressured Miller for several circuits before flying past Miller on the high side on lap 12. It was his sixth triumph in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region with five coming at Eagle River. Snellenberger kept all challengers at bay and cruised to victory in the caution free event. Miller hung on to claim second place money. Last week’s feature winner Ryan Glembin [Read More]

Nielsen Nabs $1,000 Weishaar Memorial Hobby Stock Win

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (July 17, 2025) – Brandon Nielsen parked it in victory lane during the Jess Weishaar Memorial Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature at Kossuth County Speedway on Thursday night, collecting a cool $1,000 for his efforts in the 25-lap main event. Grant Haugland and Jay Sidles led the 17-car field to green, but it was Sidles who held the point after the first lap. Just two laps later, Jade Lange took over the top spot before a yellow flag flew on lap five. A restart followed, and that’s when Nielsen made his move. Nielsen powered into the lead on lap eight and never looked back, only slowed by a caution on lap 13. Driving a car still wrapped in last year’s Salute To Veterans Blue Angel tribute theme, the Spencer veteran scored his third win of the season at Algona and fifth overall in the 2025 B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Season point leader Josh Sidles settled for second, while a hard-charging Mike Smith completed the podium. Shryock Outduels Jennings in Stock [Read More]

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (July 18, 2025) – The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds delivered the race of the night at Marshalltown Speedway with a jaw-dropping 20-lap thriller. Zach Rawlins led early before Zane DeVilbiss threw a slick slider to take command. But the show wasn’t over. By Ben Deatherage ESTEVAN, SK (July 20, 2025) — The second night of Riley Raynard’s Dirt Wars brought drama, dominance, and down-to-the-wire action to Estevan Motor Speedway. Despite weather threats, fans were treated to thrilling performances across six Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly divisions, with Diezel Raynard stealing the show in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks. The evening kicked off with a makeup Hobby Stock feature from Saturday. Brody Singleton paced the opening circuits, withstanding early pressure from Tyson Grinstead. A series of cautions interrupted the flow, but reigning Dirt Wars champion and 2025 Tougher Than Dirt Tour titleholder Diezel Raynard methodically carved his way forward from mid-pack. Following a lap 14 restart, Raynard surged into the lead and never looked back, holding off Kaiden Tuchscherer and Singleton to score the win. Raynard wasn’t finished. In the scheduled Sunday finale, Nick Martin and Grinstead initially traded the lead before Grinstead emerged out front on lap two.
