Veloz Storms from Eighth for Davenport Late Model Victory; Ryan Secures Sixth Track Title

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (Aug. 22, 2025) — Logan Veloz picked up his fourth Sunoco IMCA Late Model win of the season at Davenport Speedway, charging from eighth starting to the lead by lap five. Once in front, the Colona, Illinois chauffeur was untouchable the rest of the way. The victory was Veloz’s 11th overall this year, with four of those coming at Davenport. Matt Ryan came from the sixth row to earn a hard-fought second with a last-lap pass, while Nathan Balensiefen ran inside the top five all night before settling for third. Beast of the East Showdown Delivers Full Slate of Mod Lite Action in 2025

(Aug. 21, 2025) — For the first time in its young history, the Beast of the East Showdown for the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites was completed in full, with all scheduled race nights run and 36 drivers from six states and two Canadian provinces taking part.
