IMCA Rebel Run specials slated June 5, 6 at Gallatin, Billings 

BILLINGS, Mont. – A pair of Rebel Run specials in Montana gives IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified drivers two chances to race their way onto the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The Friday, June 5 opening night event at Gallatin Speedway pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $75 to start. On Saturday, June 6, the top prize is $1,500 with a minimum of $100 paid to start at Billings Motorsports Park, making the weekend one of the top-paying combinations in Montana this season. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded each night. Event sponsor DRW of Billings will give contingency awards. Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. both days. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Jamestown hosts IMCA Modifieds this Saturday 

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Jamestown Speedway rolls out the red carpet this Saturday, June 6 for the first of five appearances this season by IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval. The feature pays $500 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motor­sports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State Points will be awarded. “We like bringing the IMCA Modifieds here because it gives our fans a chance to see popular drivers they know and remember but don’t get to see race often,” said promoter Tim Baldwin. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m.; the IMCA feature will be the second main event on the evening’s program. Busy stretch begins Saturday at Dodge City Raceway Park

And in grand style it will be with the powerful NCRA Sprint Cars along with DCRP championship chase action for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks. IMCA Race Night Friday at Clay County Fair Speedway 

SPENCER, Iowa (May 29) – Friday night is IMCA Race Night at the Clay County Fair Speedway. Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. with races at 7:30 p.m. “Weekly IMCA racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway is off to a great start,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. “The drivers and fans have been very supportive.” After three weeks of racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway, point leaders are Dustin Smith of Lake City in the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, Devin Smith of Lake City in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Doug Smith of Lanesboro in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, Cody Nielsen of Spencer in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Jay DeVries of Spencer in the Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Three dates announced for Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase

DANUBE, Minn. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars will race for $1,000 to win on each of three Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase dates. Jackson Speedway hosts the opening night show on Saturday, May 30. The Chase is at Murray County Speedway in Slayton on Friday, July 17 and at Redwood Speedway in Redwood Falls on Sunday, July 26. The top driver in point standings for the three nights earns a $1,000 share of the $2,000 series point fund and becomes eligible to qualify for the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Racing returns tonight to Salina Speedway

With only one race in the books so far, on May 1, Mother Nature has prevailed each of the last two weekends. Anticipation from race fans and race teams have prompted track officials to do everything in their power to get people back on track as the season hopes to now set in full swing. Owen donating May 23 earnings to Baker family medical fund

By Ben Deatherage COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – Jimmy Owen is ready for action on Saturday, May 23 at his hometown Cottage Grove Speedway. So far, Owen has finished second in both Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod starts this year and resides second in the track point standings. “It’s been a pretty good year even though we’re dealing with some motor issues,” said Owen, “but I’m hoping to have everything fixed by this weekend to give Gene (Ashley) a run for his money.” Owen is doing something very special this week for his friend Colin Baker.  He is donating all his race earnings from the weekend to Colin’s medical fund.  Baker is currently in the hospital suffering from the genetic disorder Wilson’s disease. “I want to challenge all the drivers out there who plan on racing this weekend to donate to this great family,” he continued. “They don’t have to donate all their winnings, just something because every little bit helps.” Owen is also offering his car to be signed with messages to Colin with painting pens [Read More]

Veterans’ Appreciation Night Friday 
at Clay County Fair Speedway

Bouche Memorial for IMCA Stock Cars slated Saturday at Thunderhill

(May 19) – A $1,000 payday is in story for the winner of the seventh annual Nathan Bouche Memorial for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars this Saturday, May 23 at Thunderhill Raceway. The winner’s share of the purse is courtesy of the Bull Pen Bar & Grill, located in Forestville. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded. There is no entry fee. Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Local track historian Tom Wagner will take the microphone and call the night’s action.
