Woods Rockets to Second Straight Outagamie Modified Win

By Joe Orsini SEYMOUR, Wis. (Jul. 4, 2025) – As the calendar flipped from June to July, temperatures rose—and so did the excitement at Outagamie Speedway. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event saw Cody Schroeder lead the opening lap from the front row. That lead was short-lived, though, as Skyler Woods blasted the high side on lap two and rocketed into the top spot. Woods was able to fend off all challengers over the balance of the race to secure his second consecutive win at Outagamie and in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Schroeder finished second with Dylan Waldvogel rounding out the podium in third. Snellenberger Snags Eagle River Speedway $1,000 Payday

(Jul. 1, 2025) — Rod Snellenberger of Pulaski, the 2008 Sunoco IMCA Stock Car National champion and defending Eagle River Speedway track champion, passed Junior Karcz for the lead on lap eight and held off hometown driver Jason Zdroik to win the $1,000-to-win feature Tuesday during the Mark Zdroik Memorial. The victory marked Snellenberger’s fourth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of 2025, his third at Eagle River this season, and the 232nd of his IMCA Stock Car career. Dave Bouche jumped into the lead from his pole position at the drop of the green of the 20 lap contest. Bouche mixed it up with Karcz in the first few circuits until a caution flew when Wausau’s Mitch Stankowski stalled on the frontstretch. On the restart, Cole Czarneski blasted into the second spot, and a three car dual ensued for the lead between Bouche, Czarneski and Snellenberger. Wyssbrod Breaks Through at Angell Park for First Career Modified Win

By Ben Deatherage SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (Jun. 29, 2025) – Brandon Schmitt looked poised to become a three-time winner at Angell Park Speedway on Sunday night, but Monroe’s Trent Wyssbrod had other plans. Schmitt took the lead from Hayden Schmuhl on lap two of the 20-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature and led through the race’s only caution on lap six. Wyssbrod applied steady pressure following the restart and ran door-to-door with Schmitt for multiple laps before dropping back with about 10 to go. But lapped traffic changed everything with two laps remaining. Both Schmitt and Wyssbrod cleared the slower cars cleanly, but Wyssbrod got the run he needed and drove underneath the two-time King of the Park winner on the backstretch coming to the white flag. He would lead at both the white and checkered flags to secure his first-ever IMCA Modified victory and a $1,000 payday in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Cody Kalmer: Digging Deep On and Off the Track

The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified driver from Winnemucca, Nevada, spends the middle of the week more than a mile below the earth’s surface as an underground gold miner. Come the weekend, he’s racing above ground, chasing checkered flags at tracks like Winnemucca Regional Raceway, Summit Raceway in Elko, and Lovelock Speedway. “I got to run Lovelock once in 2020 and then they shut down,” said Kalmer. “So I was excited they came back a few years ago. Meirhofer Masters MODtana Madness in $5,000 Modified Thriller at Gallatin

(Jun. 28, 2025) — Jeremy Meirhofer came out on top of a wild 55-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature to win the 2025 edition of MODtana Madness at Gallatin Speedway and earn the $5,000 payday. Two-time Montana State champion Cory Craver paced the field early, grabbing the lead on lap one and holding firm through several interruptions. Craver navigated lapped traffic by lap eight and held back a strong charge from two-time and reigning track champion Jordan Tocci following a caution on lap 14. A scheduled fuel stop at lap 23 briefly reset the field. On the restart, Craver kept Tocci behind him again before another pair of cautions on laps 28 and 34 bunched up the pack. Craver took advantage of the battle between Tocci and four-time Montana State champion and five-time Gallatin Speedway titlist Jeremy Meirhofer to extend his lead. Sweigart Breaks Record with Third KRC Win At Port Royal

(Jun. 28, 2025) — “Nitro” Nick Sweigart has made no secret of his 2025 goals revolving around Port Royal Speedway, and he checked a big one off his list Saturday in the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series Keystone RaceSaver Challenge, becoming the first driver to win the Port Royal Speedway classic three times. Sweigart, from Myerstown, led the 14th annual KRC feature nearly all the way, but a furious challenge from runner-up Christian Rumsey of New York turned the last four laps into a lead-swapping race for the ages. When the top two encountered slower traffic on lap 17, it looked like Sweigart’s lead was far too great for that factor to make any difference, but Rumsey found something that helped him slice off large chunks of the margin in the third and fourth turns, and with four to go he slipped underneath Sweigart and into the lead. Andersen Slices Through the Field for Modified Glory at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Chad Andersen was on a mission in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Eagle Raceway. Cameron Thompson led the opening circuits with Tyler Harr close behind, but all eyes were on Andersen, who steadily picked off cars one by one. He cracked the top three by lap five and slipped into second a few laps later. By lap 12, he powered around Thompson for the lead and immediately began to stretch it out. From there, Andersen hit his marks and left the rest of the field to battle behind him. Harr gave chase but never closed the gap as the laps clicked off. Foulger Scores Third Hetrick Memorial Victory at Antioch

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Troy Foulger of Oakley won the 20-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Saturday night at Antioch Speedway. The $1,000 payday came as part of the 10th annual Jerry Hetrick Memorial and marked Foulger’s third career win in the event. It was also his second IMCA Modified victory of the season at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds track, his fifth Shaw Race Cars Western Region triumph of 2025, and his 80th combined career win at the speedway. Looking to repeat as the winner, Andrew Pearce set the early pace ahead of Foulger, but a yellow flag waved for Tyler Browne of Antioch on lap 2. Pounds Prevails in Emotional McGowan Memorial Win at Bakersfield

(Jun. 28, 2025) — Brad Pounds delivered an emotional victory in Saturday’s 30-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature, capturing the $1,032-to-win Richie McGowan Memorial at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The win marked Pounds’ second of the season at Bakersfield Speedway and in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region, coming in tribute to his late father-in-law. Pounds and Bryan Clark shared the front row for the main event, with a four-wide battle on the opening lap quickly sorting out in Pounds’ favor. He took command of the race while Jake Pike gave chase using the high line through lapped traffic. Two late-race restarts inside the final 10 laps gave Pike opportunities, but Pounds held on by a car length for the special win. Rob Sanders rounded out the podium.
