IMCA Stock Cars chase $10,000 top prize at Batesville’s Mid-America Championship

BATESVILLE, Ark. (Aug. 29, 2022) – The richest race of the season for The Class Too Tough to Tame in Arkansas is on tap Sept. 2-3, when Batesville Motor Speedway rolls out the red carpet for the Schoenfeld Headers Mid-America IMCA Stock Car Championship. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $10,000 to win at the 27th annual event, along with an automatic starting spot in the upcoming B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. The runner-up earns $5,000 with $2,500 paid for third, $1,250 for fourth and $1,000 for fifth. Minimum start money is $800 with 25 cars set to take the initial green flag in the 50-lap main event.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. both nights with a full show for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, hobby stocks and cruisers on the opening night card. IMCA Stock Cars are headliner at US 30’s inaugural Governor’s Cup

COLUMBUS, Neb. (Aug. 28, 2022) – Abe’s US 30 Speedway hosts the inaugural Governor’s Cup special, with IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars racing for $2,000 to win their Thursday, Sept. 1 main event.  The B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifier is also the next installment in the Stock Car Crown Summer Series and pays a minimum of $200 to start. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run for $1,000 to win and $150 to start, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win and $50 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and state points will be awarded, with Stock Cars earning series points as well.  Registration fee is $20 for Stock Cars and Northern SportMods. There is no registration charge for the Hobby Stocks.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and free for kids ages 11 and under.  Pit passes are $30.

Ocean Speedway Pettit Shootout shows to feature IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods Sept. 23, 24

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (Aug. 26, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods are on the card for both nights of Ocean Speedway’s 12th annual Pettit Shootout.  The West Coast’s premier shootout honors Pat and Jim Pettit Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24. Modifieds race for $1,003 to win and a minimum of $103 to start, Northern SportMods for $553 to win and a minimum of $103 to start on opening night. On night two, Modifieds chase a $3,006 top check and $206 start money while Northern SportMods run for $1,006 to win and $156 to start.  The added Northern SportMod purse is presented by All Spec Metals of Pittsburg.  The total purse for all division is more than $30,000, plus contingency awards and prizes will be given during the weekend.   There is no entry fee and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and state points will be awarded both nights in both divisions; Modifieds also earn Shaw Race Cars Western Region points.   Pit passes are $50. Weedon Memorial for IMCA Modifieds on Friday card at Davenport 

DAVENPORT, Iowa (Aug. 11, 2022) – A $1,000 to win feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds is on the card this Friday night, at Davenport Speedway’s Ron Weedon Memorial.  The Modified portion of the Aug. 12 program is draw/redraw and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility is at stake as well. IMCA Sunoco Late Models and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods are also on the program. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.  Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 3-12 and free for two and under. IMCA Modifieds look to lasso $1,000 at I-37 on Aug. 6

PLEASANTON, Texas (Aug. 1, 2022) – A $1,000 check and Fast Shafts All-Star qualifying eligibility await the winner of the Saturday, Aug. 6 Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at I-37 Speedway.  Sundowner RV of Kerrville is sponsor of the evening’s race program and pit passes are $30.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 pm. Joe Crist Memorial IMCA Stock Car special at US 36 this Friday

OSBORN, Mo. (July 25, 2022) – One of the biggest events in Show-Me State IMCA Sunoco Stock Car Racing comes to US 36 Raceway this Friday night, July 29 as the Joe Crist Memorial kicks off. The winner earns $2,262 and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Starting the main event is good for a minimum of $140. Both the hard charger and hard luck drivers pocket $162 with $262 paid for the longest haul, $62 to each heat race winner and $62 to the driver drawing the no. 62 chip. IMCA RaceSaver Sprints return to Front Row Challenge on Aug. 8 

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (July 22, 2022) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars return to Southern Iowa Speedway on Monday, Aug. 8, running for $1,000 to win at the 27th annual Sage Fruit Front Row Challenge.      Minimum start money has been doubled to $200 and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded at the SeaFoam Motor Treatment sponsored event.      There is no entry fee and pit passes at Oskaloosa are $40. Admission is $30 for adults and $15 for ages 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased through the Front Row Challenge website. Reserved seats and infield party passes are available by calling 515 957-0020.      Outlaw 410 Sprint Cars run for $21,000 to win and a minimum of $800 to start that evening and must run with the Schoenfeld/Knoxville muffler.      The Front Row Challenge is presented by the Rayce Rudeen Foundation and Country Builders Construction.

IMCA Modifieds headline Barona’s Summer Shootout

LAKESIDE, Calif. (July 20, 2022) – Five IMCA divisions are on Friday and Saturday Summer Shootout cards at Barona Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility in their July 22 and July 23 features at the quick Southern California speedplant. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods chase $650 top checks, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks both run for $500 to win and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts run for $300 to win both nights.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded. 2nd annual Eric Van Iten Memorial is Sunday at The ‘Burg

LUXEMBURG, Wis. (July 12, 2022) – Friends and fellow drivers will remember Eric Van Iten at the second annual memorial race in his honor this Sunday at The ’Burg Speedway.  IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $5,000 to win and a guaranteed starting berth in the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational while Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for a top check of $2,500 and qualifying eligibility for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.  Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run for $800 to win.
