Muscatine Mall to host pre-season race car show

By Jerry Mackey MUSCATINE, Iowa (March 13, 2023) – The 2023 racing season In Eastern Iowa is just around the corner and the Muscatine Mall will be hosting a pre-season race car show to rev up the enthusiasm for the season in our area. Drivers from around the area will have their shiny new 2023 race cars on display in the Muscatine Mall starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18. Race fans of all ages will have the opportunity to see the cars up close and will meet the drivers and crews and can ask all about their race teams and get autographs. In addition to over 20 race cars on display, several racing go karts will also be on display. Area race tracks will be represented and have schedules and special event information available. IMCA special event drivers, state champs earn AERO awards for 27^th straight season

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (March 9, 2023) – The race wheel manufacturer with the motto Surpassing The Standard rewards IMCA Modified drivers doing just that for a 27th consecutive season. Three IMCA divisions to Stampede at Southern Oklahoma March 16-18

ARDMORE, Okla. (March 7, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions get back on the track at Southern Oklahoma Speedway’s March 16-18 Southern Stampede special. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $2,000 to win and $200 to start on opening night, $1,000 to win and $100 to start on night two and $3,000 to win and $300 to start in their finale. Egbert answers when Lone Star Tour opportunity knocks at Devil’s Bowl

MESQUITE, Texas (March 6, 2023) – Opportunity knocked and G.W. Egbert IV answered Monday night, in the third installment of the Sunoco Race Fuels Lone Star Tour presented by Sniper Speed. Deschamp Shines in Stock Car Thriller at Nodak Speedway

(Apr. 27, 2025) — Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars took center stage at Nodak Speedway’s season opener, and the 3/8-mile “Playground of Power” delivered thrilling side-by-side action on a crisp Sunday evening. Chris Tuchscherer, the 2005 Williston Basin Stock Car champion and double-duty driver for the night, grabbed the early lead. However, two-time defending track champion Will Scheresky found a way around him by lap 4 and began pulling away before a caution slowed the field on the fifth circuit. On the restart, Gabe Deschamp — fresh off a win at Marshalltown’s Frostbuster earlier in the month — tracked down Scheresky and completed a bold move on the inside to take command on lap 6. (Apr. 26, 2025) — Myron DeYoung proved the high side was the fast lane at Crystal Motor Speedway, using a late-race move to claim his first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified win of the 2025 season — and extend one of IMCA’s most impressive streaks. With the victory, DeYoung has now won at least one IMCA Modified main event in each of the last 31 consecutive seasons, continuing a remarkable run that spans more than three decades. Jaycob Truemner grabbed the initial lead after a spirited battle with Jerry Hunt.
