By Inside Line Promotions BRANDON, S.D. (June 1, 2025) — Jared Jansen made a late-race pass to score his second career RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car victory. That set up a green-white-checkered restart with Jansen holding off Grogan by 0.934 seconds. Trebelhorn Thrills Arlington Crowd With Stock Car Triumph

By Susan Allen ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 31, 2025) — A new face in victory lane had the crowd roaring as Jed Trebelhorn and A.J. Zimmerman started on the front row of the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event and raced side by side for the first five laps until Tim Pessek worked his way into the mix. A yellow flag waved when Mark Zimmerman spun in turn four and exited the track. On the restart, Trebelhorn maintained the point and took off, while Pessek, Zimmerman, and Josh Larson battled for second. Another caution came on lap ten when Randy Melvin had issues and pulled off the track. Trebelhorn again led the field to green and withstood heavy pressure. Some drivers found grip on the top, others searched low, but lap by lap, Trebelhorn held on for an exciting win — his first career Stock Car victory at Arlington and in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Larson finished second, with Pessek close behind in third. Loverude Outlasts Hatlestad for Second Arlington Modified Triumph of the Year [Read More]

Bittner and Kepner Take PA Sprint Series Checkers at Port Royal

By Frank Buhrman PORT ROYAL, Pa. (My 31, 2025) — Timmy Bittner kept the streak alive, then Kruz Kepner smashed it. On a cold night, Port Royal Speedway officials heated up the action by dividing the 50-car River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series field in half and running two complete features. Bittner extended the series’ run of new 2025 winners to eight with an impressive 2.694-second win over Mike Melair in the first feature. Kepner then became the season’s first repeat winner in the second feature, finishing 1.279 seconds ahead of Logan Spahr. For Bittner, from Beech Creek in Clinton County, it also was his first career PASS victory, although he has won elsewhere and is a former RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car Pennsylvania State champion. It was his second win in about 48 hours, coming after he took the checkers Thursday night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in an Allegheny Sprint Tour event. Kepner’s win was his eighth with PASS – again, augmented by victories in other IMCA events – and it strengthened his hold on [Read More]

Rasmussen Rules Antioch for Third RaceSaver Win of 2025

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (May 31, 2025) — Kyle Rasmussen of Clovis won the 25 lap California RaceSaver Sprint Series main event. The two-time State champion turned in a rather dominant performance in collecting his third win of the season.  Rasmussen led from the outset ahead of reigning California State champion Phil Heynen and current point leader Davey Pombo Jr. Following a lap five yellow flag for Rino Feliciano, Rasmussen resumed command. Pombo slipped past Heynen for second at that point, but Rasmussen started pulling away again. The race had one more slowdown, but that did not deter Rasmussen as he scored an impressive victory ahead of Davey Pombo Jr. and Heynen.

Paulson Masters ‘The Grove’ for First Win

By Frank Buhrman MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (May 23, 2025) —  Jeff Paulson, a regular Mid Atlantic Sprint Series driver, took advantage of Landon Price’s misfortune and scored his first RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car victory in his first time racing at Williams Grove Speedway with the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series. Paulson made the trek from Honey Brook in Chester County to Mechanicsburg pay off big-time. He finished third in his heat race, then drew the outside front row starting position for the feature, beside Price, who had looked dominating earlier in the program and seemed on his way to a second consecutive win, after taking the checkers at BAPS Motor Speedway the previous Sunday. Price, who had won his heat by nearly seven seconds, jumped out to the early lead and began to distance himself from the field, with Paulson holding on for second. The expected outcome changed dramatically, however, when the leader apparently made contact with one of the tires marking the inside boundary of the track in turn four and lost a wheel [Read More]

Oliver Returns to Winning at Beckley Motor Speedway

By Evan McCrory MOUNT HOPE, W.Va. (May 24, 2025) — Jeff Oliver from Pendergrass, Georgia, ended a nearly year-long winless streak with a hard-earned victory in Saturday’s Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis main event at Beckley Motor Speedway. The co-sanctioned show with the Ohio Thunder Sprint Car Series brought 19 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car teams to the West Virginia high banks for a chilly but action-packed night. Oliver, who last visited victory lane in June of 2023, charged to the front after a lap 15 tangle between early front-runners Cale Cozad and Jadan Bowling reshuffled the order. The incident opened the door for Oliver, who grabbed the lead on the ensuing restart and never looked back. Wyatt Justice led early from the pole and looked poised for his first career series win before Oliver made the decisive move. Justice settled for second, fending off a strong late effort from Jeff Weaver, who completed the podium in third. The win was the 20th of Oliver’s Carolina Sprint Tour career.

Hatlestad Holds Off Late Charge for Arlington Modified Win

By Susan Allen ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 24, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds provided a thrilling main event at Arlington Raceway, with multiple cautions and challenges keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Chad Porter jumped out to an early lead and set the pace through the opening laps. But when a caution flew on lap six, Porter was among those who had trouble navigating traffic, opening the door for Clint Hatlestad. Hatlestad seized the opportunity and took over the lead after the restart. Another caution on lap nine tightened the pack once more, but the Glencoe driver remained strong up front. Trent Loverude applied heavy pressure late, drawing to Hatlestad’s rear bumper just before another caution bunched the field for one final sprint. Hatlestad nailed the last restart and never looked back, scoring his first win of the 2025 campaign at Arlington and in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Loverude settled for second, with Porter rounding out the podium. Mackenthun Masters Bottom Lane for Stock Car Victory Dan Mackenthun worked his way [Read More]
