New link connects drivers to IMCA contingency awards

VINTON, Iowa (March 6, 2024) – A few clicks on the keyboard is all it will take for drivers in any IMCA division to make themselves eligible for contingency awards to be given for the 2024 race season. Drivers can click here to go to the form, which is also on the IMCA website using the forms menu, to complete the process in a matter of minutes. Drivers will be asked to indicate the make of cylinder head, shock and spring they compete with this season, and attach a picture of their car displaying required decal placement. “This is a quick and easy one-stop process,” said IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “No paperwork is involved and drivers can make themselves eligible for point fund shares and contingency awards and then focus on racing.” Decal packets are mailed from the IMCA home office daily.

Beatrice Speedway rolling out red carpet for five IMCA divisions at 31st Spring Nationals

BEATRICE, Neb. (March 5, 2024) – The green flag flies for another of IMCA’s longest running specials when Beatrice Speedway hosts the 31st annual Spring Nationals on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $2,500 to win, a minimum of $250 to start and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility each night of the traditional season opener for drivers from across much of the Central United States and points beyond. DODGE CITY, Kan. (Feb. 27, 2024) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars get top billing and race for a lot of dollar bills at Dodge City Raceway Park’s April 5-6 Sprint Car Nationals. The opening weekend event for the United Rebel Sprint Series sees the winged warriors race in qualifying heats and features on Friday. He’s 4-for-4: Smith completes second sweep at Kennedale Spring Kickoff

KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 24, 2024) – What Cody Smith described as a good start to the season after opening night of the Spring Kickoff got even better after night two. Smith repeated his Kennedale Speedway Park heroics Saturday evening, winning both Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMod and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car features. IMCA Late Model sanction is first for Park Jefferson, South Dakota

JEFFERSON, S.D. (Feb. 21, 2024) – Park Jefferson Speedway will crown its first-ever IMCA Sunoco Late Model track champion this season. Sanctioned Late Models join five other IMCA divisions at PJ and run on six select nights in 2024.
