Midstate Machine to replace engine claimed from Super Nationals Stock Car champion

BOONE, Iowa – Midstate Machine will add an engine to the prestige and the $5,000 that go with winning the Stock Car main event at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Ca­sey’s.  IMCA and event sponsors will contribute parts. Midstate Machine, of Des Moines, will donate the labor to send the Saturday night champion home from Boone Speedway with a new power­plant.  “We have a ton of Stock Car customers who race at Super Nationals,” said Midstate’s John Davis. “We wanted to donate our time and parts so the Super Nationals Stock Car winner gets an en­gine.”  EQ contributes a set of heads, Champ Pans the oil pan, Edelbrock the intake manifold, JE Pis­tons a set of pistons, Manley a crankshaft, Comp Cams the camshaft, rocker arms and lifters, Kevko the valve covers and MSD the distributor. Health care heroes nominations sought for honorary starters of last-chance features

BOONE, Iowa – Fans and drivers will get the opportunity to applaud three health care heroes Saturday during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Anyone currently working on the frontline of health care can be nominated to be an honorary starter for each of the Modified last-chance features on the Sept. 12 race program. “This is one more way we can recognize and thank individuals who have provided care and encouragement to so many of us in recent months,” noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “There is no better time or place to do so than on Saturday night during Super Nationals at Boone Speedway.”  Letters or emails of nomination should be 500 words or less and tell about the nominee and how they have gone above and beyond in providing care during the pandemic.  Nominations should be directed to Yoder at the IMCA home office or kyoder@imca.com.

IMCA expands RoC qualifications for 2020 Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA officials have announced that more drivers will be eligible to qualify for the race of champions in their respective divisions at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. 2019 track champions, as well as 2020 champions or current point leaders, along with former RoC winners, Super Nationals, national and regional champions, will be eligible to qualify.  “There was a need to adjust eligibility because of the situation a number of tracks have experi­enced in 2020,” explained IMCA President Brett Root. “We expanded eligibility to include these deserving drivers due to the restricted schedules at these facilities resulting from the pandemic.”  The Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions for Modifieds, Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champi­ons for Stock Cars, Stephenville Starter Race of Champions for Hobby Stocks and BSB Manufactur­ing Race of Champions for Northern SportMods will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 at Boone Speedway. IMCA.TV bonuses guarantee $14,000+ to Super Nationals champs

BOONE, Iowa – A couple clicks is all it will take for drivers to put themselves in the running for bigger paydays at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
