(Apr. 26, 2025) — A rare Saturday night show kicked off the 2025 season at Nodak Speedway, and the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds delivered an instant classic on the 3/8-mile “Playground of Power” at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Marcus Tomlinson and Justin Medler battled for the early advantage, with Tomlinson edging ahead after lap one. The six-time defending North Dakota State champion and 2022 Nodak track king looked strong before a restart brought two-time North Dakota State champion and 2017 IMCA national titlist Jason Wolla into the mix. Moore Outduels Blood in Wild Grays Harbor Modified Thriller

(Apr. 26, 2025) — Craig Moore of Seabeck led all 25 laps of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Grays Harbor Raceway, but to earn his first win of the 2025 season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region was anything but easy. Moore took command at the drop of the green, quickly distancing himself from Scott Miller while the action behind was absolute chaos. The race from third through eighth went two- and even three-wide early on, as Tyson Blood carved his way forward from the 10th starting position. Logan Veloz Takes First Late Model Win at Davenport

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (Apr. 25, 2025) — Logan Veloz scored his first ever Sunoco IMCA Late Model feature win. The 21-year-old Colona, Illinois driver took the lead of the race on lap 3 and never looked back. Veloz becomes the third different Late Model feature winner at Davenport in as many races this season. Travis Denning started on the pole in the race and led the first two laps before finishing second. Evan Miller was third. The full field of Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds was sprinkled with some top-name talent. Wisconsin’s Skyler Woods jumped out to the early lead in the 20-lap main. Kasey Weaver From Wreckers to Checkers

By Jim Haines WINCHESTER, Va. (Apr. 26, 2025) — Kasey Weaver made a big turnaround from last week’s rough outing at Hagerstown, which ended early against the fence. The second night out with the Virginia Sprint Series couldn’t have gone more differently. After finishing second in his heat, Weaver went on to lead every lap of the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature to score the win at Winchester Speedway. After morning showers gave way to windy and cold conditions, the feature lined up with Weaver and Matt Mullins on the front row. Weaver charged to the lead and stayed low on the track, with Mullins settling into second. On the eighth lap, Mullins slid up slightly, allowing Dylan Shatzer to take over the runner-up position. Headlining the night was a thrilling Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature, where Andrew Jochim delivered a late-race slide job to claim his first-ever Dacotah Speedway victory and first win of 2025 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Adam Goff and Jeremy Engelhardt led the field to the green flag in the IMCA Stock Car feature. A series of early cautions regrouped the field, allowing Shawn Volk to enter the mix and make it a three-car battle. Each year, the event honors one of the great promoters in the track’s storied history. Cliff Chambers was instrumental in keeping weekly racing alive on the famed 1/4-mile high-banked clay oval for many years, and this memorial race continues his lasting legacy. (Apr. 26, 2025) — Jordan Tocci made a statement on the second night of the 2025 Montana Spring Roundup, powering to victory in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Electric City Speedway.
