Morgan Muscles to Victory at Outlaw in Series Return to Dundee

DUNDEE, N.Y. (July 25, 2025) — It had been five years since the Close Racing Supply NY/Penn IMCA Modified Series presented by Insinger Performance last visited Outlaw Speedway, but Rodney Morgan made sure the wait was worth it. Morgan earned his first DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region victory of 2025 with a commanding performance in Friday night’s 25-lap main event.

A stout field of 22 Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds filled the pit area for the long-awaited return to the “Baddest Dirt Track on the Planet.” Brad Delamater took the initial lead from the pole and paced the first six laps. A lap four caution for Matt Roberts bunched the field after Roberts made contact with the backstretch wall in a wild three-wide battle for third.

On the restart, Morgan found his line and charged past Delamater on lap seven. From there, he set sail, leading the rest of the way to claim the $1,510.10 payday. Keith Lamphere and Tyler Belcher completed the podium in second and third, respectively.

Sites dominates in NY-Penn Series show at The Hill

In February, his race shop burned down, leaving little for he and his brother, Brad, to start the season with. NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series at Penn Can for Memorial Weekend show

SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. (May 25, 2022) – The Memorial Weekend sees touring Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds return to a familiar locale. Penn Can Speedway hosts round two of the Close Racing Supply NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series presented by Precision Hydraulic & Oil. The Sunday, May 29 main event pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $100 to start. Winner of the 25-lapper at Susquehanna earns Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and KMJ Performance State points, as well as series points, will be awarded. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and racing follows 6:45 p.m. hot laps. Pit passes are $40. The NY-Penn Series show will be broadcast by IMCA.TV and DirtTrackDigest.TV. Eddie Sites won the series opener on April 30 at Skyline Raceway Motorsports Park.

SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – Round five of the NY-Penn Series takes touring IMCA Modifieds back to Penn Can Speedway this Sunday for a $1,000 to win, minimum $100 to start main event. Brad Sites brings both a two-race winning streak and the series points lead to Susquehanna for the Aug. 15 event, which makes the winner eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and KMJ Performance State points, as well as special series points, will be awarded. Gates open at noon for series competitors. Thornton Keeps Back Hibdon at Boone for First Salute to Vets Modified Win

Suckow Scores First Stock Car Victory at Independence

By Christine Rublack INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (July 26, 2025) — Cole Suckow raced to his first-ever victory in a Sunoco IMCA Stock Car Saturday night at Independence Motor Speedway, taking charge early and never looking back. Riley Hanson and Brett Vanous waged a fierce battle for second with Tom Schmitt in close pursuit. As Hanson and Vanous ran side-by-side, Suckow extended his advantage and cruised to the checkers. Hanson and Vanous completed the podium. Cordes Captures Modified Glory In the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Mike Burbridge led most of the way but it was Troy Cordes who scored the win in the closing laps. Tyson Blood Gets 3rd Grays Harbor Modified Win of the Season

(July 27, 2025) — Four-time Washington State IMCA Champion and four-time Grays Harbor Track Champion Tyson Blood kept the momentum rolling with his third win of the season at Grays Harbor Raceway and fifth overall in the 2025 Shaw Race Cars Western Region for the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. Jake Sorenson led the early laps, fending off multiple challenges from Brenton Schnitzer. On lap nine, the battle for the lead reached a fever pitch as Blood made it three-wide on the front stretch. Entering turn one, Schnitzer got loose trying to avoid contact with Sorenson, clipped Blood, bounced off an infield tire, and came to a stop—bringing out the race’s only caution. On the restart, Blood powered to the outside and drove around Sorenson to take the lead for good. He never looked back and cruised to victory.
