EAGLE, Neb. (July 26, 2025) — Tanner Dowty led the early charge in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature, with Nick Jensen, Brad Burhenne, and Matt Rotschafer battling behind. Burhenne moved into second on lap three, while Eric Chab and Dillon Richards methodically advanced through the pack. A caution involving Rotschafer and Ben Becher tightened the field on lap six, and on the restart Richards blasted to the lead. Burhenne faded as Brayden Hurley climbed to third, then second.

Hurley passed Chab for the runner-up spot on the final lap, but Richards was long gone. With the win, Richards upped his 2025 total to 11 victories in 12 starts at Eagle and now boasts 36 wins in the division in 2025—28 in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region.

Harker Hustles to Third Modified Win of the Year

The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature opened with a back-and-forth battle among Aaron Pella, Tyler Harr, Clint Homan, and Jaxon Saathoff. Homan briefly took command until contact with Dillon Carlisle sent both cars off on the hook. That gave the lead to Saathoff, who was pursued by Shawn Harker, Harr, and Cameron Thompson.

After a series of cautions and Choose Cone reshuffles, Harker worked methodically from his 11th-place starting position to steal the lead from Saathoff with seven laps remaining. He never looked back, collecting his third Jet Racing Central Region victory of the year—his second in as many weeks and third overall, all scored at Eagle. Saathoff settled for second with Brandon Verbeek coming across the line in third.

Blake Breaks Through for First Stock Car Win of the Season

Dusty Blake took the early lead in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main and never relinquished it. Blake Peeler and Nick Beckman gave chase, while Travis Patterson and Tommy Etherton tried to keep pace. An incident on lap eight involving Dylan Haney created a melee that eliminated several contenders and reset the field via a Choose Cone restart.

Blake held firm through multiple challenges to earn his first win at Eagle Raceway and his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of 2025. He has only raced a handful of times this season, but made the most of his fourth Stock Car start at Eagle. Beckman was the runner-up followed by Benji Legg.

Andrews Finally Finds Victory Lane in 2025

The Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature saw a turbulent start with several cautions and a trio of Choose Cone resets. Luke Williams initially led, but as the race progressed, Matt Andrews surged forward. He took the lead from Williams with eight laps remaining.

A late spin by Theron Ahlman created one final restart, but Andrews remained ahead of everyone else. The final order of the podium was Andrews, Williams, and Derek Hall. For Andrews, it was his first win at Eagle this year.

Gullion Grabs Long-Awaited Sprint Car Score

The final feature of the night belonged to the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars, who had $2,500 added to the purse and $1,100 on the line to win. Adam Gullion led early, but was briefly challenged by Brandon Horton and Stu Snyder through multiple restarts. Jack Thomas flipped early on, bringing out a red flag.

Horton managed to pass Gullion late but couldn’t hang on as Gullion retook the top spot and held off a final charge to score his first victory of the season. It was a welcome return to form for the former track champion, capping a thrilling night of racing at Eagle. Horton was second over third finishing Billy Alley.
