EAGLE, Neb. (July 19, 2025) — It took three tries to get the feature going for the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars at Eagle Raceway, and when it finally did, it turned into one of the most thrilling races of the night.

A massive seven-car pileup in turn four on the original start and a second pileup on the restart shook up the field early. Once the action finally found rhythm, Travis Patterson took command with Dana Deeke and Tim Drake following. But the driver to watch was Mason Richards, who charged from his 17th starting spot like a man on a mission.

Richards steadily reeled in the leaders and took control with six circuits to go, overcoming an early 1.4-second gap to Patterson. Chad Andersen mounted a late rally of his own, swapping spots with Deeke as the two battled hard for third. At the line, Richards secured his sixth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season and third Stock Car win at Eagle in 2025. Patterson and Andersen were second and third.

Hendrickson Earns Long-Awaited First Sprint Car Triumph

The start of the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event was just as dramatic. Cameron Thompson took a wild ride in turn three, flipping and landing on Alex Salzman’s car. Mike Boston was also collected. Thankfully, all drivers were okay, but their cars were finished for the night.

When the green flag finally stayed out, Gene Ackland led early but couldn’t hold off Tyler Hendrickson, who powered to the front by lap 12. Jason Danley made a late charge to second, with Cole Wayman and Brandon Horton close behind. Hendrickson held firm over the final circuits to notch his first Sprint Car win of the season.

Floyd Flies Late for First Career SportMod Win at Eagle

Tyler Remereid set the early tone in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod main event. After a flurry of early cautions and restarts, Cole Wayman catapulted to the front. But Aiden Floyd had other plans.

Floyd powered through the field in the second half of the race and made the winning pass with five to go. It was Floyd’s first win of the year and his first-ever at Eagle in the division. The top three were Floyd, Wayman, and Noah Williams.

Harker Slingshots to Second 2025 Modified Victory

Clint Homan led early in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature, but a well-timed restart set the stage for Shawn Harker. Restarting second, Harker made a bold move to the bottom in turn one and never looked back after taking the lead on lap six.

Bob Zoubek climbed into second as Adam Armstrong completed the podium. The win was Harker’s second Jet Racing Central Region of the season.

Dillon Richards Scores 11th Eagle Victory in Hobby Stocks

Dillon Richards wasted no time putting himself at the front in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock  finale. Eric Chab led lap one, but Richards surged ahead a few circuits later and set sail from there.

A hard-fought battle raged behind him with Colin Hein and Ben Becher slicing their way through the pack. Chab regrouped and stayed in the mix, but no one could catch Richards, who logged his 36th win of 2025—11 of them at Eagle and all but eight in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Chab and Hein completed the rest of the podium.

The event was broadcast live on IMCA TV affiliate Advantage TV. Catch every lap again with the IMCA TV Replay Subscription, available for just $24.99/month. And don’t miss Season 2 of the Boone Docuseries, now streaming exclusively on IMCA TV.
