ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 28, 2025) — Despite morning rain showers that challenged track prep for Holtmeier Construction Night, fans at Arlington Raceway were treated to a thrilling night of racing filled with dominant drives, dramatic comebacks, and season-first wins.
Cory Probst refused to let a second-lap caution define his night. Sent to the back of the pack, the defending champion sliced through the field, passing 15 cars on his way to victory—his 16th B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region win of 2025 and fifth at Arlington.
Brad Becker led early, trailed closely by Ben Davis and Chad Volk. Probst took the lead on lap eight, while Volk made a last-lap pass to finish second. Davis was third and Becker settled for fourth.
Schumacher Charges to Third Arlington Sport Compact Win
Gary Schumacher put together a perfect run in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact main event. Starting in the second row, he jumped to the lead and never looked back, holding off Dale Gatton to earn his fourth win of the season and third at Arlington. Gatton was second, with Justin Schelitzke in third.
Larson Lands Fourth Win of the Season in SportMod Scrap
The Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature saw three different leaders in the early going before Eric Larson grabbed control and never gave it up. The fourth-lap pass set Larson on course for his fourth win of the year and second at Arlington.
Joey Reimers crossed the stripe in second, followed by Zach Davis in third.
Hasara Hustles to First Career Sprint Car Win
Matt Hasara made the most of his starting position and never looked back in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature, leading every lap to earn the first victory of his racing career.
The race was briefly halted on lap six when Hannah Graf and Andrew Allen tangled in turn one, with Allen flipping his car. He was uninjured, but both drivers were done for the night. When the race resumed, Hasara fended off a strong challenge from Matt Johnson over the final laps to seal the milestone win. Johnson settled for second, followed by Brett Allen in third.
Speckman Strikes for Fifth Stock Car Victory of ‘25
Matt Speckman added to his growing trophy collection with a clutch performance in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. Taking over the lead on lap seven, he went on to claim his fifth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of the season and second at Arlington.
Early leader Dakota Robinson retired with mechanical issues, while Ryan Bjerkeset also dropped out after overheating. Dan Eckblad finished second with Dan Mackenthun charging to third from eighth.
Hatlestad Handles Modifieds for Third Win
Clint Hatlestad had the field covered in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature. After Rick Nelson and J.J. Reimers led the opening laps, Hatlestad powered to the point on lap four and controlled the rest of the race.
He earned his third Razor Chassis North Central Region win and third at Arlington this year. Dan Menk finished second, with Chad Porter third and Reimers fourth.
The event was broadcast live on IMCA.TV affiliate Dirt Race Central. Catch every lap on demand with the IMCA.TV Replay Subscription, just $24.99/month. Season 2 of The Boone Docuseries is now streaming exclusively on IMCA.TV.
