EAGLE, Neb. (June 21, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature’s initial start at Eagle Raceway was negated when Roger Elliot spun in turn four. On the restart, Tommy Etherton took the early lead, with Cash Beckman, Mike Scheinost and Jakob Boucher giving chase. Scott Carlson jumped past both Scheinost and Boucher on lap two to grab third, while Mason Richards moved into fourth on lap four.

Lap ten saw Kyle Vanover vault into the top four, climbing to third. A caution with eight to go reset the field with a double file restart. That’s when Chad Andersen made his move, charging from 13th to second. He took over the lead with six laps remaining as Vanover followed him into second. The top four settled in from there with Andersen collecting his second Stock Car win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, Vanover in second, and Etherton third.

Waller Powers to Sprint Car Supremacy with Daring Late Charge

Billy Alley led the early stages of the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature with Trefer Waller in pursuit. After early cautions reshuffled the field, Jack Thomas moved into second, challenging Alley until Waller stormed back to reclaim the runner-up spot.

With eight laps left, a caution gave Waller the opportunity he needed. He dove to the bottom and drove past Thomas with five to go, then extended his lead to a full straightaway en route to his first win at Eagle Raceway. Thomas held on for second with Stu Snyder rounding out the podium, in third.

Richards Keeps Eagle Streak Alive With Seventh Straight Hobby Stock Win

Jason Hansen paced the first lap of the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature before Dillon Richards quickly powered into the lead by lap three. As chaos broke out behind him—including a spin by Matt Rotschafer and a flat tire for Neil Pella—Richards stayed cool and consistent on the top groove.

Trenton Dowty gave chase late in the race, surging from mid-pack to second, but Richards was unshaken, holding him off in the final laps. The win was Richards’ seventh straight at Eagle Raceway in 2025 and his 29th overall this season with 21 coming in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Dowty finished second, Kenny Roberts third.

Scoring Twist Hands Hahn Emotional SportMod Return to Victory Lane

Mary Hahn led the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature early, with Randy Fox, John Allensworth and Hayden Hillgartner hot on her heels. Hillgartner climbed to second by the halfway point and made a pass for the lead with just two laps to go.

But Hillgartner’s inside move violated the cone procedure on the restart, resulting in a one-position penalty. Hahn was awarded the win—her first at Eagle in two years. Hillgartner was scored second and Cole Wayman third.

Andersen Dominates the Modifieds in Commanding Eagle Performance

Tyler Harr led the opening lap of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main before Dustin Andersen stormed into the lead by lap three. His brother Chad Andersen moved into second by lap six, while Bob Zoubek and Shawn Harker climbed into the top four.

Despite a late caution with three to go, Dustin Andersen controlled the restart and never looked back, winning his first Modified feature of the season at Eagle Raceway and in the Jet Racing Central Region. Chad Andersen settled for second, followed by Zoubek.
