Dosch Delivers First Win in Stock Car Thriller at Dacotah

MANDAN, N.D. (Jun. 6, 2025) — When the green flag waved in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Dacotah Speedway, Casey Binstock and Matt Dosch battled for the lead. Binstock led early before Dosch grabbed the lead on lap four and pulled away. Binstock started to fall through the field, losing positions to Adam Goff, Geoff Hellman and Brock Beeter. Hellman, who started 10th, passed Goff for second with seven laps to go and set his sights on Dosch. Hellman reeled in Dosch and they raced hard for the win. Coming out of corner four and to the checkered flag, Matt Dosch just narrowly held off Geoff Hellman for the win for his first triumph in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region this year. Adam Goff finished third ahead of Brock Beeter.

Strand Scores Second Straight in Modifieds

Pole sitter Kyler Jeffrey led early in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature. Jeffrey led the first four laps before defending track champion, Shawn Strand, took the top spot. Points leader, Jeremy Keller, quickly climbed into the second position. As the laps wound down, third place Mark Dahl fell into the clutches of Quentin Kinzley. When the checkered flag waved, Jeremy Keller settled for second place behind back-to-back feature winner, Shawn Strand for his second Razor Chassis North Central Region victory in 2025. Quentin Kinzley made a late race pass to finish third ahead of Mark Dahl.

Dacotah checkers fly for Kinzley, Hanson

By Becca Rattei MANDAN, N.D. (June 12) – IMCA winners Friday night at Dacotah Speedway were Quentin Kinzley and Braydee Hanson. Pole sitter Hank Berry quickly pulled away early in the IMCA Modified feature. Berry’s large lead was erased by a lap seven caution, however, and Kinzley passed Mark Dahl for second and challenged Berry for the lead following the restart. They briefly raced side by side until Kinzley took charge on lap eight. Kinzley started to pull away as Marlyn Seidler started to close in on Berry. Kinzley made it look easy as he cruised to victory lane to win his second career feature victory. Berry held off Seidler to finish second while Jeremy Keller finished fourth. Spencer Wilson rounded out the top five. Ken Sandberg grabbed the lead from pole sitter Stan Thompson in the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature. As Sandberg started to distance himself from the field, Thompson and Hanson battled for second. A caution regrouped the field with four laps to go. Keller dominates opening night at Dacotah Speedway

By Becca Pelkey MANDAN, N.D. (May 6, 2022) – Jeremy Keller led every time around the track in winning Friday’s opening night feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at Dacotah Speedway. Shawn Strand and Keller led the field to the green flag for the 25-lap feature. Keller pulled away as Strand tried to hold off Spencer Wilson for second. A series of mid-race cautions regrouped the field which allowed Travis Hagen to make it a three-car battle for second. They sliced and diced for position on the track as defending track champion Quentin Kinzley lurked in fifth. Hagen passed Wilson for third and challenged Strand for second but when the checkered flag waved, came up short to second running Strand. Spencer Wilson finished fourth ahead of Kinzley. Defending track champion Stan Thompson led early in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature. Stan’s son Alex quickly reeled in his dad and they raced side-by-side for several laps. Dacotah Speedway checkers to Seidler

By Rebecca Rattei MANDAN, N.D. (May 19, 2023) – Veteran Marlyn Seidler was the winner Friday night in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Dacotah Speedway. Scott Gartner led from the pole in the main event and pulled away as the racing was heating up behind him between Travis Tooley, Quentin Kinzley, Mark Dahl and Jason Wolla. Drivers were slicing and dicing for position as the track was wide and racy. A mid-race caution erased Gartner’s large lead over the field. On the restart, Gartner, Kinzley and Dahl raced three-wide for the lead as Tooley, Wolla and Seidler raced three wide for fourth. Seidler, who started ninth, shuffled into the fourth position and wasted no time tracking down the leaders. Kinzley led briefly before Dahl claimed the top spot. Probst Powers to Third Arlington Hobby Stock Win

(Jun. 7, 2025) — In Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock action at Arlington Raceway, Jonathan Schroeder was the early leader until he pulled off the track on lap 9, following a yellow for Taylor Manderfield’s engine issues. That opened the door for Cory Probst, who took over after the restart and never looked back. The Brewster driver powered to his 13th victory of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region and third of the year at Arlington. Jordan Robinson followed Probst across the line in second. Daniel Probst ended up third. Blood Edges Patterson in Photo Finish at Sunset

Both the reigning Oregon and Washington state champions were in the house, and the action lived up to the billing. Oregon’s Carter Patterson set a torrid pace out front that could’ve gone unnoticed—if not for the war that broke out behind him for positions two through five. David Day, John Gaynor, Tyson Blood, and Devon Reed were locked in a relentless battle, often racing under a blanket and using multiple grooves across the Bullring. Lamphere Charges to Second Win After Wild Woodhull Modified Feature

(Jun. 7, 2025) – A string of early cautions slowed the start of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Woodhull Raceway, setting the stage for a dramatic and unpredictable main event. Shawn Bruce led the opening laps before mechanical trouble forced him to the back of the field, bringing out a yellow. That handed the lead to Jakub Ingham, who paced the field for a couple circuits until longtime Street Stock veteran Earl Zimmer muscled his way into the top spot. But heartbreak struck again—Zimmer’s car suffered a rear-end failure that ended his night prematurely. Ingham regained the lead, but his challenge was just beginning. Keith Lamphere, charging forward with momentum, closed in and eventually made the pass to take over the top spot. Lamphere then held off all challengers to score his second win of the season at Woodhull and second overall in the DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region. Ingham settled for a strong runner-up finish, with Jacob McConnell crossing the line third.
