SEYMOUR, Wis. (May 30, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway saw Cody Hokenstad hold off the pack at the drop of the green from his pole position. The field barely got one lap in before a quick yellow bunched the group back up. On the restart, Dan Roedl powered his way to the front, taking the lead on lap three. Roedl looked to check out early, but “The Hitman” Johnny Whitman was slicing through the field.
Working the low side, Whitman wheeled his no. 08 machine into third by lap six, then charged around the high side to second just two laps later. At the halfway point, Roedl still led, but lap 11 was the turning point — Whitman hugged the infield tires and drove under Roedl to take over the lead. The Suamico racer stayed strong through the closing laps to notch his second feature win of the year at Outagamie, his third overall in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. He also picked up hard charger honors. Roedl settled for second with Jayden Schmidt taking third.
Snellenberger Scores First Stock Car Win of 2025
The Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature kicked off with a flurry of lead changes over the first three laps. Ryan Lujeck led lap one before Jesse Krahn claimed the front spot a lap later. That didn’t last long, as defending track champion “Hot” Rod Snellenberger muscled his no. 10 entry underneath Krahn to take command on lap three.
At the halfway point, Snellenberger still led while Chase Parker worked his way to second. A late caution with two laps to go reset the field, but Snellenberger held steady to earn his first win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Brett Wenzel nipped Parker for the runner-up position.
Schmidt Rallies Late to Win SportMod Feature
Max Oreskovich appeared poised to go back-to-back in Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod action, but Ryan Schmidt had other plans. Schmidt, who started 11th, used a green-white-checkered finish to make his winning move.
The Hortonville hotshoe raced to his second win of the season, and first at Outagamie in 2025. Oreskovich settled for second while Kaden Besaw completed the top three.
Borrowed Car, Big Win for Schulte in Sport Compact Action
Ricky Kaufert led the early laps of the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature before surrendering the top spot to Brett Deprez on lap seven. Deprez looked to seal the deal, but a late caution brought the field back together.
That’s when Thomas Schulte made his move — driving a borrowed no. 54S machine from Deprez after damaging his usual no. 69 in a heat race crash the prior week. Schulte, from Kaukauna, started eighth and executed a timely pass to take the win, his second of the year, but first at Outagamie this season. Deprez and Cody Booth completed the podium.
