Paulson Masters ‘The Grove’ for First Win

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (May 23, 2025) — Jeff Paulson, a regular Mid Atlantic Sprint Series driver, took advantage of Landon Price’s misfortune and scored his first RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car victory in his first time racing at Williams Grove Speedway with the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series.

Paulson made the trek from Honey Brook in Chester County to Mechanicsburg pay off big-time. He finished third in his heat race, then drew the outside front row starting position for the feature, beside Price, who had looked dominating earlier in the program and seemed on his way to a second consecutive win, after taking the checkers at BAPS Motor Speedway the previous Sunday.

Price, who had won his heat by nearly seven seconds, jumped out to the early lead and began to distance himself from the field, with Paulson holding on for second. The expected outcome changed dramatically, however, when the leader apparently made contact with one of the tires marking the inside boundary of the track in turn four and lost a wheel on lap seven.

That put Paulson in the lead, and the veteran held off first young Kasey Weaver and then Mike Melair to claim the win on a windy and cold night.

Melair and Weaver finished second and third.

Rhodes scores PASS win at BAPS

(July 27) – Ken Duke Jr. capped a perfect racing weekend with a late pass for the lead and his second straight hometown victory in Saturday’s 20-lap Pennsylvania Sprint Series feature at Selinsgrove Speedway. (June 22, 2024) – It was a performance reminiscent of a year ago for River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series defending champion Logan Spahr. Starting 11th in a strong field of IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Spahr blasted through the field and took the lead from race-long frontrunner Doug Dodson with two laps to go, crossing under the checkered flags in front by 2.179 seconds for his second win of 2024 Saturday at Port Royal Speedway. Donnohue Delivers in Traffic for Huset’s Victory

(May 25, 2025) — Brady Donnohue made a late-race pass in traffic to win the 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event at Huset’s Speedway, which showcased four different leaders. Andrew Sullivan led the first two laps with Dylan Waxdahl taking over the top spot on lap three. Lee Goos Jr. used the top groove to move forward, powering into the lead on lap eight. Donnohue advanced into second place and closed on Goos Jr. once he hit traffic near the midpoint of the race. Donnohue pulled even for the lead twice before he completed the winning move on lap 18 en route to winning by 0.609 seconds. Goos Jr. finished second with Sullivan in third.
