SHAWANO, Wis. (June 9) – Marcus Yarie and Kyle Raddant made return trips to the winner’s circle at Shawano Speedway following IMCA Modified and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod main events, respectively.
Chucky Forstner and Jerry Muenster battled for the lead on the opening lap of the Modified main. Forstner held the lead until lap 10 when rookie Brekken Kleinschmidt took to the outside of the track and grabbed the front spot.
Yarie followed Kleinschmidt around Forstner into second, then powered his way past Kleinschmidt for the lead on the following lap. Wyatt Block soon passed Kleinschmidt to grab second. In the end it was Yarie for the win, chased by Block, Kleinschmidt, Lance Arneson, and Jerry Wilinski.

By Brandon Reichenberger SHAWANO, Wisc. (May 10, 2025) — After much anticipation, Mother Nature finally cooperated to allow 200 truckloads of new clay to be laid on Shawano Speedway. The new surface produced multi-groove racing, little dust, and plenty of speed as the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headlined the action-packed night. Tanner Janke made the most of the fresh track, taking control early and holding off a strong charge from Lucas Lamberies to secure his first Razor Chassis North Central Region win of 2025. Janke, who started on the front row alongside his father Gary Janke, jumped to the lead and built a sizable advantage before the first of two cautions flew for a spin by Jason Yeager in turn four. On both restarts, Janke maintained his composure and pulled away, despite pressure from Lamberies, who had charged from eighth. A final caution for Jerry Muenster set up one last restart, but Janke proved untouchable, pulling away to take the checkers. Lamberies settled for second, while Gary Janke completed the family’s strong showing in third. Springborn [Read More]

Jerry Muenster, a 2010 Hall of Fame inductee, and Paul Thorpe led the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified field to the green flag for a 20-lap, action-packed feature.
