EAGLE, Neb. (May 2) – Tim Horsham topped the Saturday Sam’s Club IMCA Sport Compact main event at Eagle Raceway.

“I’m dedicating this win and my whole season to my niece Kim Brigham. She’s suffering from an inoperable brain tumor and this is all for her,” Horsham said.

He concluded the post-race interview by stating, “I really didn’t expect that win. I’m still learning how to drive these things. Lindsey (Theisen) sure let me know she was right behind me. On the restarts she was bumping me to remind me. I knew then I better get going.”

Dylan Smith took advantage of a restart to take the lead and drive to the Kaplan University IMCA Modified checkers.

Trevor Grossenbacher took the lead with four laps to go and sped to another Precise Racing IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car victory.

Lance Borgman was the NAPA IMCA Northern SportMod winner and Adam Armstrong was first in the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock main event.
