Clash on the Coast point fund shares at stake Saturday at Southern Raceway
MILTON, Fla. (March 1, 2024) – With 248 laps and 72 races in the books for the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at this year’s Clash on the Coast, four point is all that separates current leader Jeff Larson, second place Joel Rust and third place Jeff Taylor from $2,500 and the custom surfboard trophy going into Saturday night’s final race. In the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Dallon Murty is trying to hang on to his one point advantage over Gage Neal for top honors with one race remaining. As in the Modifieds, the point champion takes home $2,500 and a custom surfboard. The 2024 IMCA Clash on the Coast has seen more than 100 IMCA Modifieds and 60 IMCA Stock Cars battle for a share of the $9,600 total point funds along with over $60,000 in purse money and over $20,000 in contingency product awards, put together by speedweeks director Peyton Taylor. March 2 racing action for the final night of Clash On The Coast from Southern Raceway can be viewed live on IMCA.TV starting at 6:30 p.m. [Read More]
