PASS ready to start season at Path Valley

(March 28, 2024) – The 26th annual season of IMCA RaceSaver competition with the River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series will take the green flag Saturday, March 30 at everybody’s favorite bullring, Path Valley Speedway. The RaceSaver sprints will join 270 and 600 micro sprints, limited late models, 4-cylinder thunder cars, and modifieds. For a cooler-weather date, times are earlier as gates open at 2 p.m. with warm-ups at 4 p.m. The first heat race will start after warm-ups. PASS competitors will run qualifying heats, a consolation race if needed, and a 25-lap feature. Adult general admission is just $10 ($3 for kids 10 and under). Pit admission is $30, plus a $5 membership fee for first-time visitors. 2023 PASS champion Logan Spahr of Lewisberry will be among nine of last season’s top 10 drivers expected to be on hand for a full field. Cedar County Raceway hosts April 5, 6 Spring Fling

The popular quarter-mile dirt track located on the Cedar County Fairgrounds on the west edge of Tipton will see the first green flag of the season on Friday, April 5. Tim Current and Ryan Duhme of Darkside Promotions will once again be promoting the racing action, which promises to be outstanding again in 2024. Friday, April 5 will see hot laps take to the track at 6 p.m. with racing to follow. Middleford sanction is Delaware first for IMCA, STARS Mod Lites

SEAFORD, DE. (March 27, 2024) – There’s big news coming out of the nation’s second smallest state this season for drivers in the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite division. Middleford Speedway in Seaford becomes the first track in Delaware to sanction the STARS Mod Lites, or any IMCA division for that matter, in 2024. “We’ve been running a class here similar to the Mod Lites since about 1994,” said promoter Greg Mitchell, hearkening to the days of dwarf cars and racing pioneer Walt Breeding. “This will be my fourth year here and we’ve run Mod Lites the last three seasons, using the STARS rules with an open tire rule.” “Our drivers wanted to go to the IMCA sanction,” he continued. “We get mostly Delaware and Maryland cars now, and I think it will help us get even more on a weekly basis.” The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season at Seaford will be from May 4 through Sept. 28. Four IMCA divisions headline five April Frostbuster dates

VINTON, Iowa (March 26, 2024) – It’s the spring version of Iowa Speedweek as four IMCA divisions travel to five different tracks for Wednesday-Sunday, April 3-7 Frostbuster specials. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 and both Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win each night beginning at Independence Motor Speedway, with dates at Stuart Speedway, Marshalltown Speedway and Boone Speedway leading up to the finale at Benton County Speedway in Vinton. Grabouski, Ward near IMCA Modified milestones, Ware sweeps Spring Nationals Stock Car features

BEATRICE, Neb. (March 22-23, 2024) – Jordan Grabouski and Tim Ward each took another step toward Friesen Performance IMCA Modified milestones with Spring Nationals feature wins. Jeff Ware, meanwhile, got the Beatrice Speedway monkey off his back with Friday and Saturday night victories at the 31st annual special. Grabouski’s 290th IMCA Modified win on opening night at his hometown track doubled as his Spring Nationals career 14th in the class dating to 2011. Ward’s Saturday checkers were his career 95th, his last win at Beatrice having come in IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing action in 2013. Wulf jumps at chance to promote Junction Motor Speedway

McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (March 21, 2024) – Randy Wulf Jr. still remembers helping load up a race car for the first-ever opening night at Junction Motor Speedway years ago. He’ll remember the excitement surrounding the opening night show at McCool Junction this season from an entirely different perspective.
