
Roedl Outguns “The Hitman” for First Win of 2025
By Joe Orsini SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 25, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Outagamie Speedway kicked off with Dan Roedl grabbing the lead at the drop of the green. Roedl opened up a lead on the field and looked set to grab an easy checkered flag, but “The Hitman” Johnny Whitman had something else in mind. Whitman, the current point leader and defending division champ, started his march to the front by sliding inside Jayden Schmidt on lap seven to move up to fourth. A lap later, Whitman picked off Tanner Janke for third. By lap 11, Whitman snuck past Konnor Wilinski to take second. Meanwhile, Roedl was still setting the pace up front and held a lead of over two seconds when Whitman moved into the runner-up spot. That advantage shrunk to just two car lengths at the checkers, but it was enough for Roedl to earn his first victory of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region.
