Pettit Powers to Late-Race Modified Win at Ocean

(Jun. 20, 2025) — Jim Pettit II of Prunedale soared around the outside of Cody Burke with two laps remaining to win the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Ocean Speedway — his second Shaw Race Cars Western Region victory of the season, both at the track. Burke led the action from the pole position. Dustin Canale spun to set up a restart on just the first lap of competition. An accordion effect on the restart caught out Bobby Hogge and Todd Hermosillo, requiring another caution to separate the two vehicles. Cole Szlauko spun from third on lap 17, erasing a 1.6 second lead for Burke over Pettit and setting up a three-lap shootout. Pettit took full advantage, driving to the top side to lead lap 19. Whisler Wires IMCA Wild West Speedweek Modified Field at Cottage Grove

(Jun. 19, 2025) — Eston Whisler wasted no time establishing control of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Cottage Grove Speedway on Thursday night during IMCA Wild West Speedweek. The 20-year-old racer from Otis, took the lead at the drop of the green and never looked back. A caution on lap two bunched the field early, but Whisler mastered the lone restart and quickly rebuilt his advantage. As the race stayed green, he encountered lapped traffic by lap 13 and spent the remainder of the 35-lap contest slicing through slower cars. Behind him, a spirited battle for second unfolded between Kevin Williamson, piloting the Superior Fuel Cell-owned No. 42, and Bricen James in the Schram Motorsports No. 13. Barker Banks $5,000 RTI Nationals Win at Park Jefferson

(Jun. 15, 2025) — The Sunday night RTI Nationals brought a packed house to Park Jefferson International Speedway with a whopping $5,000 payday on the line for the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. And it was two-time South Dakota State champion Travis Barker who cashed in. Barker, who started seventh, muscled his way through a hard-fought 35-lap main event. Early on, Brady Wenzlaff controlled the race while three-time Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod winner, Johnathon Logue, and Devin Tripp waged a three-wide battle for the top spot. Goos Jr. Grabs First Huset’s Victory of 2025 in Wild Sprint Showdown

By Inside Line Promotions BRANDON, S.D. (Jun. 15, 2025) — Lee Goos Jr. was the third-and-final leader in a thrilling 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event at Huset’s Speedway. He became the sixth different winner in six races for the division this season. Zach Patterson paced the field for the first 14 laps before Trevor Serbus moved into the lead on lap 15. The three drivers of Patterson, Serbus and Goos Jr. duked it out for three straight laps of sliders and side-by-side racing with Goos Jr. edging in front on lap 17. Moore Picks Up Second Win of the Year at Grays Harbor

(Jun. 15, 2025) — Brian Izzi got the jump on the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified field at Grays Harbor Raceway from his outside front row starting spot and led the early laps of the main event. On lap three, contact occurred in a battle for seventh, eighth, and ninth between Jason Tole, Tyson Blood, and Riley Scherer. Scherer and Blood got together, sending Blood spinning to a stop and ending his night early. Austin Rognlin took over the lead on the restart, with Craig Moore sliding into third and then passing Izzi for second a lap later. Rognlin built a healthy lead through lap 10, but Moore slowly began to reel him in as the leaders encountered lapped traffic. Moore capitalized and made the pass for the lead on lap 21. (Jun. 18, 2025) — The IMCA.TV Winter Nationals presented by Pitt Stop Motorsports will return to Central Arizona Raceway in 2026, with updated dates announced for the prestigious mid-winter racing tradition. The event is now scheduled for January 20 through January 31, providing teams and fans with warmer temperatures and a better fit on the winter calendar. (Jun. 17, 2025) — Bricen James etched his name into the IMCA Wild West Speedweek record books Tuesday night at the Douglas County Dirtrack, capturing a thrilling Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature for his fourth straight Speedweek victory — the most consecutive wins in series history for the Modifieds.
