Money Masters Modified Main at Thomas County

By Sheldon Wickwar COLBY, Kan. (Jun. 28, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headlined the Saturday night program at Thomas County Speedway, with Danny Keller and John Burrow setting the pace on the front row. Burrow jumped to the early lead but quickly came under fire from Dylan Sherfick and Kyle Rohleder, two of the fastest Modified shoes in the state. The trio battled tightly for the top spot until a caution flew on lap four for a spin by Eddie Belec. Rohleder led the field back to green, but Clay Money had other plans. Charging up from deeper in the pack, Money powered to the lead by lap seven and began pulling away as Sherfick and Rohleder fought behind him. Once clear, Money stretched his advantage and never looked back, scoring his third Jet Racing Central Region win of 2025 and second at Colby. Sherfick finished second, followed by Rohleder in third. Olmstead Strong in Hobby Stock Action at WaKeeney

By Sheldon Wickwar WaKEENEY, Kan. (Jun. 27, 2025) — Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks headlined Friday night at the historic WaKeeney Speedway.  The front row of the main event featured Blake Holmes and Zach Olmstead. Olmstead charged to the early lead but was quickly challenged by Brady Wulf and Holmes. Staying smooth and composed throughout the feature, Olmstead fended off every advance and claimed his 12th win of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Brady Bencken made a huge run through the field to finish second, with Eric Cross crossing the line third. Higdon Grabs Sport Compact Win The Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact main event rolled off with Mitch Conner and Kiowa Higdon on the front row. Higdon jumped out to the early lead and soon found himself under fire from Connor Schwien and Kyle Mortensen. Higdon and Schwien battled closely throughout, with Schwien better in the corners while Higdon maintained the advantage down the straightaways. Foulger Scores Third Hetrick Memorial Victory at Antioch

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Troy Foulger of Oakley won the 20-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Saturday night at Antioch Speedway. The $1,000 payday came as part of the 10th annual Jerry Hetrick Memorial and marked Foulger’s third career win in the event. It was also his second IMCA Modified victory of the season at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds track, his fifth Shaw Race Cars Western Region triumph of 2025, and his 80th combined career win at the speedway. Looking to repeat as the winner, Andrew Pearce set the early pace ahead of Foulger, but a yellow flag waved for Tyler Browne of Antioch on lap 2. Pearce maintained the lead on the restart with Foulger and Bobby Hogge IV in pursuit. The front two began to pull away from the pack until Foulger made an outside pass on the frontstretch on lap 6 to take over the top spot. A caution flew on lap 8 for Jacob Mallet Jr., bunching the field again. Foulger resumed the lead with Hogge [Read More]
