Andersen Slices Through the Field for Modified Glory at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Chad Andersen was on a mission in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Eagle Raceway. Cameron Thompson led the opening circuits with Tyler Harr close behind, but all eyes were on Andersen, who steadily picked off cars one by one. He cracked the top three by lap five and slipped into second a few laps later. By lap 12, he powered around Thompson for the lead and immediately began to stretch it out. From there, Andersen hit his marks and left the rest of the field to battle behind him. Harr gave chase but never closed the gap as the laps clicked off. Berry Blazes Field in Marshalltown Modified Main Event

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Jun. 27, 2025) — The nightcap proved to be a scorcher as the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds roared onto the track. Dustin Kroening sat on the pole, with Jake McBirnie to his outside. But it was Marshalltown native Tom Berry Jr. who made quick work of the field, grabbing the lead early and leaving the rest behind. Berry cruised to a dominant win in the 20-lap finale, while Kollin Hibdon and McBirnie completed the podium. The win was Berry’s third of the season, coming at three different tracks, with two scored in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Carter Slides to SportMod Supremacy Fans were treated to a slide-job clinic in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods. Money Masters Modified Main at Thomas County

(Jun. 28, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headlined the Saturday night program at Thomas County Speedway, with Danny Keller and John Burrow setting the pace on the front row. Burrow jumped to the early lead but quickly came under fire from Dylan Sherfick and Kyle Rohleder, two of the fastest Modified shoes in the state. The trio battled tightly for the top spot until a caution flew on lap four for a spin by Eddie Belec. Rohleder led the field back to green, but Clay Money had other plans. Charging up from deeper in the pack, Money powered to the lead by lap seven and began pulling away as Sherfick and Rohleder fought behind him. Olmstead Strong in Hobby Stock Action at WaKeeney

The front row of the main event featured Blake Holmes and Zach Olmstead. Olmstead charged to the early lead but was quickly challenged by Brady Wulf and Holmes. Staying smooth and composed throughout the feature, Olmstead fended off every advance and claimed his 12th win of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Brady Bencken made a huge run through the field to finish second, with Eric Cross crossing the line third. Foulger Scores Third Hetrick Memorial Victory at Antioch

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Troy Foulger of Oakley won the 20-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Saturday night at Antioch Speedway. The $1,000 payday came as part of the 10th annual Jerry Hetrick Memorial and marked Foulger’s third career win in the event. It was also his second IMCA Modified victory of the season at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds track, his fifth Shaw Race Cars Western Region triumph of 2025, and his 80th combined career win at the speedway. Looking to repeat as the winner, Andrew Pearce set the early pace ahead of Foulger, but a yellow flag waved for Tyler Browne of Antioch on lap 2. Pounds Prevails in Emotional McGowan Memorial Win at Bakersfield

(Jun. 28, 2025) — Brad Pounds delivered an emotional victory in Saturday’s 30-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature, capturing the $1,032-to-win Richie McGowan Memorial at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The win marked Pounds’ second of the season at Bakersfield Speedway and in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region, coming in tribute to his late father-in-law. Pounds and Bryan Clark shared the front row for the main event, with a four-wide battle on the opening lap quickly sorting out in Pounds’ favor. He took command of the race while Jake Pike gave chase using the high line through lapped traffic. Chelf Scores First-Ever Stock Car Win At Maquoketa

By Jerry Mackey MAQUOKETA, Iowa (June 28, 2025) — Andrew Chelf of nearby Lost Nation has won plenty of Hobby Stock races at his home track, but Saturday night marked his first-ever triumph in the ultra-competitive Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars at Maquoketa Speedway. Chelf ran the bottom side to perfection, holding off a host of challengers for the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory. Veteran Jerry Miles worked the top groove and stayed in contention late but ultimately finished second behind the smooth-running Chelf. (Jun. 27, 2025) — Eston Whisler powered his way to a flag-to-flag victory in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at the Douglas County Dirtrack, scoring his fourth win of the 2025 season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. Whisler, of Otis, started fifth and took the lead on lap two from early pacesetter Bennett Bray. The race’s first caution came on lap five, but Whisler nailed the restart and pulled away from the field. He encountered lapped traffic on lap 15, but before it impacted his progress, another yellow flag waved to reset the field. From there, Whisler continued to dominate on restarts, cruising to victory at his fourth different track this season. Wagner Hustles to Late-Race SportMod Score at Ocean

(Jun. 27, 2025) — Bay Point’s Danny Wagner snagged the lead on lap 18 of the 20-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature and drove away to victory Friday night at Ocean Speedway. Connor Sollis took the initial lead from the outside pole after starting alongside rookie Shane Freeman. Sixth-starting Rob Gallaher quickly carved through the field, passing 2024 track champion Emali Van Hoff for second, then overtaking Sollis for the lead on lap four. Championship contender Bo Crebs slowed on the front stretch to bring out a caution on lap 12. On the ensuing restart, Van Hoff spun in turn one and was hit hard by 14-year-old Landon King, ending both drivers’ evenings. Wagner tracked down Gallaher and made his move to the inside on lap 16.
