IMCA SportMod Challenge winner earns $2,000 at Davenport 

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods take over the spotlight in a $2,000 to win main event on Friday, June 10 at Davenport Speedway. The IMCA SportMod Challenge will use a draw/redraw format and all racing will be on the quarter-mile oval.  Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:15 p.m. and racing at 6:45 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors and free for kids 12 and under when accompanying a paid adult. URSS Rebels ready for another doubleheader weekend 

COLBY, Kan. – The 2016 United Rebels Sprint Series has been yet another success despite several rainouts. Six races with six different winners is proving once again that parity is the name of the game in 2016. This weekend, the IMCA EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car tour return to a track that has seen four different winners in the four trips to Thomas County Speedway in Colby, Kan. The lightning fast 3/8th-mile oval has always been one of the drivers’ favorite tracks to race at over the years. Hot laps with start at 6 p.m. Saturday with racing at 7 p.m. On Sunday night, June 5, the URSS Rebels will return to RPM Speedway in Hays, Kan., for the Steve King Foundation Night. IMCA Late Models chase $1,000 check June 16 at Kossuth County

ALGONA, Iowa – IMCA Late Models race for $1,000 to win when they join the weekly race program at Kossuth County Speedway on Thursday, June 16. The runner-up takes home $600 with $400 for third, $300 for fourth, $250 for fifth, $200 for sixth and a minimum of $175 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded to drivers looking to turn laps at the Algona oval before returning for the July 7 Deery Brothers Summer Series event. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $25. Spectator admission is $10 for adults and free for ages 14 and under. IMCA Dirt Wars starts Idaho Falls Raceway season 

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – The second annual Dirt Wars special this Saturday, June 4 starts the 2016 season at Idaho Falls Raceway. The Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified feature pays $1,500 to win and is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invita­tional ballot qualifying event while top prize in the IMCA SportMod feature is $750. All applicable IMCA points, including local track, will be awarded and RACEceivers are required in both divisions. Pit gates open at noon and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. Outlaw karts take to the track at 5 p.m. with the evening program set for 7 p.m. There will be a monster truck freestyle event at intermission. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids and free for three and under. Modified en­try fee is $50 and pit passes are $15. A practice session will be held Friday, June 3. BOONE, Iowa (May 30) – The combination of torrential rain and pea-sized hail was more than enough to result in cancellation of the Memorial Day Deery Brothers Summer Series event at Boone Speedway. Next up on the IMCA Late Model series schedule is the $2,000 to win, minimum $300 to start event at Marshalltown Speedway on Tuesday, June 7. Wild West IMCA Modified Shoot Out boasts seven $1,000 to win Modified dates

Inaugural Dakota Track Side Northern SportMod series is July 1-4 

MINOT, N.D. – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod drivers have four more reasons to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day holiday. The inaugural Dakota Track Side-sponsored tour travels to three different North Dakota tracks from July 1-4 for $700 to win, minimum $100 to start events. Dubuque Speedway to host Tri-Track Challenge

Out Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Models will tackle the high banks of Dubuque Speedway on Sunday, May 29 with a 50-lap main event headlining the racing program with the winner pocket­ing a cool $2,000.
