
Northern SportMod Nationals at Britt boasts possible $4,000 payday
BRITT, Iowa – Winning the Tuesday, June 23 MaxYield Seed Northern SportMod Nationals at Hancock County Speedway could be worth as much as $4,000. The main event for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $2,500 to win. Five hundred dollar bonuses will be paid if the first-place driver is a previous event winner; has raced at least three times previously this season at Britt; and has won a regular season feature there this year. Twenty-four cars qualify and four more get sponsor provisionals. A 10-minute pit stop on the front straight is planned midway through the 40-lapper and the winner goes home with a six-foot tall trophy. Start money is $75 and the MaxYield Seed Hard Charger award is $100. Entry fee for the Northern SportMods is $75.
